I think i have a bad servo, my 07 LS460 on the drivers side wont get hot. It gets cold but not hot. Thats equally the same in the back drivers side as well. Does the car need to go to the dealer?

YES, there are personalized settings that can be changed at the dealership (turn off daytime running lights, how long mirror lights stay on, which doors unlock from driver handle, etc..) Steering wheel is original; they all look off likely due to sun.

My UL steering wheel doesn’t perfectly match either, and it’s even more glaring because of the Antiqued Walnut trim everywhere else. I think it’s original.

I wonder if you’d consider replacing the hoses as the original ones were hard like plastic hence the struggle you had removing the old reservoir. Also, what about the rest of the system, including the steering rack? You still have ATF there, so now you are mixing two different types of fluid and the color is still going to be red ATF color since the system holds as much if not more fluid than the reservoir. Did you ever go back to using ATF or flushed the system with O’Reily’s brand PS fluid?

Excellent tip! How much did the reservoir cost? Easy preventative maintenance item that should be done every 100-150k miles on these trucks !

As an update, Yale sent me a brand new lock for free under warranty. I sent this one back to them.

Thanks for this. Confirms changing something that should be easy like the PCV is not in the cards for me with my skill level nor worth it. My local independent Lexus/Toyota shop said changing the PCV is not worth it unless there is something bigger needing to be done due to the manifold. I will keep using ATS cleaner to break up the carbon every oil change to see if it decreases my rate of oil burn. Before the first treatment I was burning 1qt every 1,000 miles. Since the first treatment and oil change it has been 1qt every 1300-1400 miles.

Hope someone got that interior…look I have a 1995 the reality is unless you are doing the work yourself they are not cheap cars to maintain. Or at least I’ll put it this way the OEM parts are expensive but a lot of them will last you for another 10 years / 100k miles…so they are hard cars to just nurse along with cheap parts unless you are going to commit to long term ownership…put cheap shitty suspension parts on them and it ruins the ride and these heavy cars will chew them up…just as an example
