Trip to Pulau Pangkor and Ipoh (part 1) | What to do in Malaysia | EDventures
This spontaneous trip went much better than expected. We wanted to edscape somewhere around Malaysia and just decided to go Pangkor and Ipoh. We did a little research and went anyway with an open mind since I've not been to Pulau Pangkor since 2011. And boy! It went so well and we enjoyed so much AND all these happened in just ONE DAY! I'll let the video do the talking!

I believe this is the most popular waterfall that is closest to the city. 30 mins drive and a 45 mins (max) hike, you can witness this waterfall. Had a blast during Staff Day, mostly because its play and no work. Had a Padel tournament which is new to all of us. We even dress the best we could according to the color we are assigned to. Mess up big time during the game cause we can't get used to the strength to swing that racquet; still had loads of fun tho. Followed by toilet bowl gift and fun flying! After months of planning, we finally got together to make this happen. Leeches, screaming, Waterfall slide, Maggi & birthday and so much happening in this Edscape. Just 1 hour drive from KL and less than 4km hike distance (moderate friendly). I still won't recommend kids tho. Leeches are famous here so be prepared. All in all an amazing trip. Spending 2 hours hiking for this majestic waterfall, it is definitely a no regret. Lata Medang is one of the famous huge waterfall in Kuala Kubu Bharu, which is just an hour plus drive from KL. Hi bro nak tanya kalau masa naik parking kat RP 5 then turun keluar kat RP 11, jauh tak kena jalan kaki from RP 11 ke RP 5 tempat kita park kereta tu ? Sebab you tumpang motor uncle kan ? 😅

And now they leave garbage at the area. I prefer to not exposed any track to public, not everyone are nature lovers, i prefer the real hiker for this kind of place, people nowadays are less conscious. Just my two cents

There are a few camping spot (Not sure if they are kept clean). It is very small, I think enough for one medium tent. I've not been there for awhile, there may be some changes :)

The whole trip is about 40 minutes.. there's just a mini stream, not waterfall.. about 30 minutes you can reach :)
