EVERSPACE Gameplay 06 (Hardcore Run)
Someone found a way to concatenate all of the micro-recordings Steam makes instead of exporting, so I gave it a try. Let's see how it looks here.
How many more Everspace videos? Two for the other ships, maybe one more for the post-DNA Sector 7. Anyway, I've never done Hardcore before, so let's try it out. For that matter, I've never done Hard difficulty either, so this will be a hell of a jump. (Spoiler: I die)
The most relevant parts are at the start with the popup describing how Hardcore works and x:xx where I have to pick a negative effect for the next Sector.

If you wanted more boss battles like the Fiendlord's Keep video, then do I have a treat for you. This time, there aren't even awkward cuts in the action! I decided to end the game by going through the Black Omen, so this meant a ton of boss battles. There are seven Sectors in the game, so six is pretty far in! This is also the furthest I've gotten so far, but I came so heartbreakingly close to getting to Sector 7. I was feeling kinda space-y, so this looked interesting. Everspace is a space flight roguelite! Push as far as you can before you horribly die, then spend the Credits you amassed during your last life to upgrade your pilot and ship. Then brave the universe once more. This time, the game is running in portrait mode! The UI is more compact, but the numbers on the main screen kinda run together. I actually show attacking a castle for once! I resisted the urge to put quotes around Gameplay in the title. CLICKPOCALYPSE II is an idle incremental game, so your ability to directly control the game is fairly limited. I have the game running in landscape mode here, but it supports portrait. This team is made of just summoners, so that's why there are so many allied critters on the field at once.     That is a trigger effect, after some time, killing enemies or touching an invisible trigger, that hide/unhide a monsters. Looks like the developers expected that door to be closed. Using an spawn fx or ceiling drop animation was a better idea

    An issue with distorsion effects, like the heat effect of lost souls in the other your clip. Check for latest video drivers for your Steam Deck.
