    That is a trigger effect, after some time, killing enemies or touching an invisible trigger, that hide/unhide a monsters. Looks like the developers expected that door to be closed. Using an spawn fx or ceiling drop animation was a better idea

    An issue with distorsion effects, like the heat effect of lost souls in the other your clip. Check for latest video drivers for your Steam Deck.
