I would suggest soaking the bark in water for 24hrs before using.
Thank you for showing not only how to wax an amaryllis bulb, but how to remove the wax, etc., to regrow it, after it’s finished blooming. I received a waxed amaryllis for Christmas this year, and it was so interesting to watch it grow and bloom a total of 8 big blossoms. Now, I am going to follow your directions to plant it in a pot, until after the first frost….then follow the rest of your directions. TFS!
Can you do anything with the basal plate after you cut it off to grow a new plant?
Dick, Thanks for some useful information but at 6.38 you planted that tree too deep, add a mulch and make it even worse. Best is to find (expose) the trunk flare and plant it one or two inches above the existing grade. Keep mulch 3/5 in. away from trunk. Hope that helps, Thanks...
Wish we could have seen these closer up on video
More *FALSE* Advice . When you cut off the basal plate, you've killed 😵the bulb.
😅 not true at all.. been cutting that plate off for a while and fresh roots always come out..
Hi, thanks for this wonderful garlic farming tutorial. I am also planning to grow garlic for first time. Have u posted final harvest video of garlic ? Yes please share it 🙏
Very nice I enjoy this information thank you ma’am
Wow! That's so neat that Jung Seeds was started from your family and still family owned. I buy lots of stuff from you. Great business you have! I wish you continuing success! Good job! Thanks!
So are you saying not to bury them deep like you usually would with Tomatoes? Thanks
Not with the grafted tomatoes. Follow the directions in the video.
What are some reccomded varieties to graft with celebrity tomato and also sakura red cherry tomato I have plenty of celebrity but the sakura I can't afford to mess up maybe I'll leave them as is I'm in Hawaii so maybe a wind resistant heat tolerant rootstock reccomdation?
Lovely Christmas Displays for the Festive Season😊
Why we have to paint the bulb instead of dipping directly since the first time
Why wouldn't you just add loose dirt on top?
To store the cannas for winter you want them to have some moisture but not soaking. The peat moss holds moisture better than dirt. Plus the dirt becomes hard and drys out.
Beautiful 😍
I ordered and recived 100 bare root strawberrys from jungs this past week, by far the best plants I have ever got!!! Thanks!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for the kind words.
I grow a hybrid tea rose in a pot on my porch, recently I discovered pot worms (tiny white worms) in the soil. Should I be worried? Are they good or bad for the plant health? Thanks!
Very curious about this one. Do you have to have a photo?
Good information! The dates to add, or remove mulch would be more meaningful if we knew where you are, or what zone you are in. Keep up the good work!
Good info!
Thank you!
Love the tape method
Thanks, us too!!
Love all the stats you have on your video about these fantastic pollinators. Will be adding quite a few of them in my pollinator garden
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed.
Great upload
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Amazing 👏

In house, you know the tree and its planting origin.
Man I wish i were closer! I order all my stock from you folks I can as well as the seeds I need that you have, hard to find a good honest supplier such as Jungs!
Thanks for the kind words, Jeff! Much appreciated.
Great tips, thanks!
The music surprised me!
Match sticks are put in the soil when planting the seedling?
Hey Erin, so that match stick would be a good thing to do after the seedling has grown some and is ready to be transplanted into outdoor soil.
Great vid, very informative, clear and concise
Thank you very much!
Wonderful tutorial. Thank you for sharing this process.
We are very happy to hear you enjoyed our video. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks for your video. We do in Ukraine about 15 cm. distance among garlic when planting. I personally prefer to plant a garlic before the winter season. It grows stronger when Spring comes.
Good Luck and thanks for watching!
I really wonder how to wax Amaryllis. Thank you for sharing this video.👍
Glad you enjoyed!
Sorry, but the cloves are very close to each other. They need space. Pardon me for saying this. 🤨 In our climate here the cloves would get diseases and rot. Maybe it is different in your climate, so please apologize my criticism. 🙂
Thank you for your feedback. Our gardens are individual and ours to make. We will not all do the same thing, do what works best for you. We planted our garlic approx. 6 inches apart. Most gourmet garlic growers plant their rows 6-8 in. apart, with a 6-8 in. distance between the cloves. We hope this information is helpful. Happy gardening!
@@junggardencenter.Thanks for your reply. 6 inches are perfectly good. On your picture however, it lookes more like 1 - 2 inches. I think that's my problem. I see the pictures and your video where the cloves are very close together. And you say 6 - 8 inches, but on the pictures this is not the case. Happy gardening!
@@irispeillon6236 The thumbnail photo is actually a stock photo just used to draw attention. Sorry for the confusion.
👍🥰
Thanks for the video. I planted them a few days ago before watching this. I might have done more dried cow manure if I watched this earlier. Are you of Dutch ancestry? The name Zondag is Dutch. Kind regards from the Netherlands.
Thank you for watching! Yes, our owner Dick Zondag is in fact Dutch. His mother was a Jung, father was a Zondag. You can read our company history at www.JungSeed.com. The town where we are located has a high Dutch population as well.
