Fatbike adventures since 2013 from North Wales and I'm lucky to live on the edge of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. My rides include fat biking either on the beaches or up in the mountains in my local area. I also love to travel to different places with the fatbike too. I've had a great fatbike trip in Iceland and there's a fair few from some wonderful places around Scotland too.
I also try to get out bikepacking too which is either on the Salsa Mukluk or on the Salsa Bucksaw.
I'm the European Tester for www.fat-bike.com which is great fun as I get to share my exploits on their website. I get to test bikes and equipment for them too.
I also get to test sample some of Apidura's bikepacking kit prior to production, so you might see the odd prototype bag.
Check out my Instagram for some banging fatbike pics!

September's bivvy a month ticked off nicely at Bwlch Cwm Llan which is nestled between Yr Wyddfa and Yr Aran in Eryri (Snowdonia), north Wales. A definite drop in temperature since my August camp and thankful for my winter bag. The Alpkit Tarpstar handled the breeze greatly after the addition of 4 external loops for guidelines. Alpkit-Make this standard for future versions. Enjoy 👌🏴

@@AllenBoardman thanks mate 👌
Another beautiful video Jeff 🚲👌 Thanks very much for that 🙂👍
@tonypaddler nice one, appreciate that 👍
@jefbricks I also appreciate your time and effort with the videoing process 👍
@@tonypaddler thanks, most don't realise the effort it takes, especially in poor weather!
@@jefbricks Oh yes, I'm sure a lot of people think that it's just a case of putting the camera down for a minute and then picking it back up!
Smashing video 🙌
Thank you 👍
Sorry I missed this. Great Video Jeff.
Brilliant. Hope you have dried out from all that rain. Thanks for sharing 👍
@@2pinttony thanks, yeah drier now! That weather was mental

@jefbricks it's days like this that make the best memories!
3 years later and I’m still watching this. Such a beautiful place.
@AllenBoardman Rrr, thanks mate 👌
A beautiful video: visions, music and no dialogue. You just let us enjoy five minutes of your world which, for me, helps (along with my own gravel riding) feel centered in these troubling (US) times.
@draw1951 thank you so much. Good luck!
Just did a 4 day trip in Temagami with 2 buds. -5 C overnight, cold windy and drizzle for a couple of days and lots of climbing. Loved every minute of it. Super bright full moon!
@@TapioBlue cool
Gorgeous video. I am happy it came up in my feed today. I spent 5 months bike-packing in NZ a few years ago and loved even the difficult times. Enjoy your day! I wish you happy travels, wherever the road may lead you.

Such a great place, love your vids…. Let us know when your going to do a long one as just love chilling and watching tv but unfortunately only ever watch a few TH-camrs I follow :)

Allen Boardman sent me here...
Welcome and enjoy
Beautiful area
It certainly is
The antler is ‘cast’ around end March to April time every year, the stag then grows a new pair, which are covered in velvet as they grow, hardening in August and then burnished on the ground and vegetation by the stag.
Interesting stuff, thank you
Do you bring your own firewood to the bothy for the fire? Curious to know how this works. 🖐🏻👍🏻
As I say in the film I'm carrying the firewood on the bike. There's no fuel near the bothy
I dont know exactly how it works in Scotland with the bothys, but here in Sweden, there are usually non profit organizations who make sure the shelters along trails has some wood. And in some cases the guests has some with them and simply leave the leftovers so the next guests has something to start one with atleast.
@Jormvngandr they sound great. The MBA bothys in the UK are quite different depending on location. Some have woodland nearby, some can have a road not too far away but there are some that are very remote so 'stocking' them with fuel would be a full time job.
@@jefbricks Yes they do. According to "vindskyddskartan" (the page is in english for those who wanna read) We have nearly 4000 of those shelters scattered around the country. So you can basically plan a trip by going from shelter to shelter. Have in mind though, the are not as warm and cozy as bothies, its just simple wind shelters.
@@Jormvngandr I need to plan a trip there 👌
Another top class vlog 👏 👌 love it
Nice one, cheers!
We also loved our trip to Glen Affric recently. Thanks for sharing.

Another brilliant video, inspiration for getting up there! Might need a mic for next time, some of the audio was very quiet
