It seems pretty obvious which button to press to do what. I don’t like that you need to look down to change gears until you develop the muscle memory, though.

People like these " luxury" upgrades until their car doesn't start and they watch me drag it up the bed of a tow truck in park. (Traditional automatics can easily be put in neutral without starting)

Would design? Yes. But confusing to use? It sure shouldn’t be. I can’t say that I confuse those gear buttons with my window or climate control buttons. Pretty obvious what they do by the letters on them.

Lots of modern cars are going to buttons or dials Edit - it’s actually not just American cars doing this either, some foreign cars like Honda dose this as well

It used to have a button that you can press once to flush and during the flush, you can press the same button again to stop the flush.
