Thank you Cruiser; this is a happy/fun video! 910 is such a joyous bear! She also was such an affectionate mom! Her little one was blessed with such a loving mom and cousin and fun aunt! 910 really helped fill the space that 812 has always held in my heart this year. Love this!

My favourite animal in the entire world, my heart will be broken when the day comes that he won’t appear at the falls., but not thinking about that now, just watching and enjoying his daily presence at Brooks Falls. Otis, you’re loved by so many, I wish you could know this.

This was 3 years ago, well before 747 became THE dominant bear.

Just watched this again prior to bear season 2022 - hoping to see Otis again!

King Otis, I'm praying for you have a safe journey back to the Katmai Falls. I'm so worried about you. Watching you last year, I cried seeing you struggling but not giving up. I know one day that sad day will come you will not be there. But I hope it wont be this spring 2022. Love you very much. You're a very special bear.

I think we could all agree he gave us all cause for worry this year , when he did come home I was shocked at how thin he was compared to other bears that came back in good shape after last years bounty of fish, I pray he finds a shelter closer to the rive this year so he doesn't have a hard trek home to the office. This winter is going to be long with my tummy in knots just praying for him. He has no idea how much he is loved and admired. Stay safe stay well everyone x

music choice leaves much to be desired 😩

Grazer could have killed that bear but she didn't. In fact the bear was relatively unharmed. Grazer was the dominant female at Brooks in the riffles and on the lip of the falls. She was a fish catching machine. She is such a good mom that even her cubs learned from her to catch fish at the falls. Grazer 128 is a top tier Katmai bear. At the end of the season, her cubs were fatter than most sub adult bears. She is my favorite Alaskan brown bear. Grazer forever!
