Thank you for the inspiring story Wiremu Doherty. This story reminds me if sitting at home with my nannys. I laughed i was inspired by the urewera forest, your grandmothers insights of your future work. Your understanding of the forest relating to culture, survival, teaching m, entering a pakeha world but holding tight to your values, belief of the maori world. I thank you. We have resided in Western Australia for 20 years i miss home all the time, but mahi is mahi, but I have never let go of my maori world. My husband has finally come to terms it is time to go home. Thank you again

These US Big Tech Companies are Colonial. Project Nimbus supplies targeting data to murder Palestinian Babies and steal the land. Māori need to get off these platforms. They are using our data to target all of us for USA Colonialism. They are like the new Christian Missionaries, using tech to deceive and extract. Tino Rangatiratanga demands dumping these Colonial Baby Murderers for Profit.

Can I ask, Why does it seem that the solutions to our challenges as Māori are so often centered on seeking recognition and respect for the Treaty from the outset the crown demonstrated little intention of honoring it? perhaps it is time to shift the focus of our conversations. Instead of anchoring our aspirations to a colonial framework that was never designed to serve us, might we not ask: how do we create a future where our mokopuna hold positions of influence, shaping the world for themselves and their whānau? 1 Could we reimagine our strategies, using the tools of the current capitalist system-not as a means of assimilation, but as a means of subversion and empowerment? By building businesses that generate generational wealth, establishing schools grounded in kaupapa Māori that are independent of government funding, and wielding economic power to drive political influence, we might craft solutions that are both pragmatic and transformative?

ae, these things are happening. Whanau, individuals have been working hard across the board. Instead the Pakeha British Colonial Institutions fund Colonial Christianist Schools after mass rape of tamariki and letting their abusers die happy. They fund Right Wing Christian USA Charter Schools to split and indoctrinate Maori and defund Maori. They steal all the best land and force whanau in to businesses like Tours to Whakaari. Everything you are saying has been happening for ever, but since British Colonial Occupation, all our Home Land Resources go to Colonial Health and Happiness First. Matike Mai is the process needed to create Institutions that Honour Te Tiriti and not just Colonial things first. Gosh, too many examples and I'm certain lots of academic texts state this better. Kura Kaupapa may be a better example. Rangiaowhia is a great example of how Pakeha destroy Māori Sovereign Independence, and continue to do so in our stolen Māori Home Land: Aotearoa.
