It is a nice piece, but unfortunately Lemax products don't last. The motor stopped working within a month. I got a replacement, and the motor is horribly noisy, plus one of the light posts just burned after only 1 week.

Hey ! I like that you posted your Christmas village 6 months ago… Do you have it out year round ? Also, I was thinking of mixing pieces from Department 56 with some from Lemax… Do you have tips to make the shiny finish and the mat one fit together ?

Good to know, thanks for posting for those of us considering this hobby. Can you talk about the scale of the figures? They seem to not be in scale with the buildings even within the same brand..for those of us that care about that.

I’m just starting out with making a village. I have some autumn accents from at least 20 years ago. Also I have some Rite Aid Pharmacy buildings. Are they compatible with all these that you have mentioned ?

OMG. I have this doll, and I have been looking all over for this wedding dress and I CANNOT FIND IT. I’m actually going crazy because I can’t find it. I have been looking for like 4 months now looking at every website and auction site. I just cannot find one.

Looks like dept 56 is bigger in size. I’ve been reading some reviews on Amazon and it looks like Lemax has lost some of it quality and craftsmanship specially on those items that are animated. I’m new to the Christmas Village and Trains scene. I’m just doing some research on what scale or brand I want to focus on.

I collected all of them when they came out. They’re happily and proudly displayed in two curio cabinets. I also own the bronze glass globe elemental dragons along with the “Duel of Dragons” limited signed edition with my name engraved on it. Thanks for posting this video 😁

Thank you for posting this! I recently picked up a damaged porcelain Jackie bride doll at a thrift store and the dress (which, other than being wrinkled, only suffered a snag in the slip layer of the crinoline) fits a resin doll I have perfectly! So beautiful! And that made me wonder if the vinyl doll might be the same size and be able to swap clothes? I loved Jaqueline Kennedy’s style and have seen a few of the vinyl outfits for sale, but before I invest in one or two of these gorgeous collector outfits, I wanted to make sure they’d work. Since you have both, would you be able to help me answer if the 16” porcelain wedding doll’s dress might fit the 16” vinyl Jackie doll and vice versa? Thank you!
