It's weird how when your turn is over you keep your guys turned around. Most people included my group turn them around after turning over stunned players. Reason being your less likely to forget to turn someone around, and you remember to flip them over at the end of turn.. Just an observation. Also kroxigor has prehensive tail you guys keep forgetting

I'm sure it's already been stated, but the 2d6 injury rolls 10-12 his is injured. Then you roll a d16 to see what happens. You must roll a D16 after they are seriously injured to find out if they are dead. 15,16 results in dead.

Nice. You still get SPP for the Cas even if it's regenerated. You guys have a dice box and didn't use it. Also can you make the test and chat smaller font, it covers a lot of info. Stunned players turn over at the end of your turn. Not during, Also you don't start over every time you get money based on the games played and how well you finish.

Some tips, don't have the players chat on their phone. It looks like you really don't care about the game, and if you don't care why should others. Your took focused on chatting, just play the game and let someone else chat. Or just use your voices. You cannot use grab on the blitz (PG 80). As for assists, if your marked by an enemy player you cannot assist. (One player can mark many players and thus they cannot assist) Stunty 9 is an injury? Look at the stunty table for injuries on stunty players

Have you considered using a poker chip as a ball marker so you don't have to mess with the fiddly tiny balls?

Pretty sure they did not "all" have katanas originally. They had the same weapons they have now. I think the art in the book looks so good because it's all Eastman and Laird. Great video BTW.

I have a question! In the backgrounds, at the very end, you have "91-00 These characters have been deliberately raised as assassins or warriors. Knows 8 Secondary skills and choice of Expert, Martial Arts, or Assassin Hand to Hand combat. +15% bonus in all Military skills...." What Primary skills does this character have?

just wanted to say this video helped me out a lot. Me and my group of about 6-8 players are going to be jumping into this soon and we had no idea where to start. We decided not to randomize our characters and plan on playing fast and loose with the "rules".

As funny as the Frog character was I'm grateful new characters were made because it kept reminding me of a Frog character I never go to play because the computer's kept cutting us off before we finished character creation plus I like Porcupines

Hi there! I finally got around to watching the rest of the video and I enjoyed it. You had a question at approx. 2hrs:40min about lowering Mystic Defense. Because of the rules about extra successes on Spellcasting in ED4, it had the potential to interact with lowered defense ratings in troublesome ways. In the Companion we brought a version of that back. Regardless of the die result, any spell cast on a willing target scores at least one success, with extra successes calculated based on the target's normal Mystic Defense. This means that buff spells (like Flameweapon, cast by the Elementalist) automatically succeed. But you still want to roll to see if you get the better results.

Just started watching your actual play and I have to give you kudos on great game mastering. I grew up playing palladium rifts and just recently started getting back into gaming after a 10 year hiatus. I found savage rifts and haven't turned back. The biggest issue I had with savage rifts was dealing with armor degradation (or the lack thereof). So my simple solution was to allow a player to spend 2 point of armor rating to soak all damage. I look forward to watching the rest of the actual plays.

I'm at the 5 minute break part. Great session so far. Saw you guys started a DnD campaign (sad face). No interest in those, especially 5e. 😔

Back to watching again. Took a few month break, due to vacation and then moving. . Good episode!

Just started watching. Was enjoyable. I played RIFTS on and off they the 90s loved the world/setting wasn't a fan of the system. Even though I did like palladium for robotech, and heroes unlimited. RIFTS was just to much all over the place. And magic just always seemed way underpowered. Anyway, just found out about Savage Worlds Rifs. I had never played Savage Worlds but I have looked at it a few times but this got me so excited I went out and bought the collector's box set and the core rules for Savage Worlds. I'm really liking what I'm seeing. I plan to keep watching. Great work. I would love to be able to get a game in some time and I may be trying to see about running a campaign myself.

From what I could tell you were adding the result of your wild die with your trait die. You're supposed to take the higher of the two, including if they ace or explode. Great GMing though
