The camera button on the iPhone 16 is useless. Apple is spending all this money making new iPhones and new versions of iOS every year even though they could take in the same amount of money if they upgraded their phone every two to three years or so because people will just buy whatever is the newest iPhone. Apple's wasting their money.

I literally bought a whole new iPhone for my dad because his iPhone X doesn't support iOS 18. I payed like $200 for this new phone just for RCS! It's ridiculous because if he had an Android, all I would have to do is update Google Messages, but for some reason, Apple is only supporting RCS on iOS 18. It's so frustrating. RCS is the only thing I care about in iOS 18.

I hate activation lock. I can't get into my old Apple Watch because I forgot the password to my Apple ID. I can't even factory reset it. In fact, I deleted that Apple ID years ago 😂. I was gonna sell my watch but now I can't get in.

Wait you actually have sponsores now? Cool. Anyway, one of the main reasons why I've used an Android device up to this point is because of RCS. I've used iPhone before, but I never used iMessage because I didn't really see the point of it. What's the point of having all these nice features if I can only use them with have of my contacts? And I'm not gonna say "hey you should buy an iPhone" cuz nobody's gonna do that. However, with RCS, there has always been some hope that eventually I'll be able to use it with everyone, and that hope became reality when Apple announced that they were going to adopt RCS. Unfortunately, the iPhone I do have doesn't support iOS 18. As much as I want to go back to that iPhone, it doesn't look like Apple is going to enable RCS on older versions of iOS, so I guess I'm sticking to Android until I actually need a new phone.

To be honest for me someone who bounces back and forth between iphones and galaxys, this greatly decreases the desire to go back to iphone. To me this is the biggest down grade not being able to send hd videos over text. IOS 18 finally changes it. It's going to interesting to see how people respond.

In terms of Bootcamp, some people need Windows and MacOS for different things. Certain programs run better on macOS, while others run better on Windows. The only reason I haven't bought an Apple silicon Mac yet is because I can't run Windows on it natively. It would be really nice if Apple could bring back Bootcamp.

8:30 I had the exact same problem! I got an iPhone, I created a new Apple ID so I could download apps, and then I signed into it on my iPhone. Then, it just automatically started backing things up and I wasn't aware of it. About two weeks later, I happened to accidentally go into iCloud storage in settings, and I saw that my iCloud storage of 5 GB was almost full! This was a problem because I was already paying for 100GB on Google Drive and I had most of my stuff backed up on there, so I signed out of iCloud. I don't use iCloud. I use Google, and I'm not paying for both.

This is why I don't use iCloud. The only thing I use my Apple ID for is to download apps because iCloud is such a confusing black hole. I use Google to back up all my stuff because it's simple and WAY easier to understand. If you don't want to deal with iCloud, just sign into the App Store instead of signing into your whole phone (you can't download apps without signing into the App Store). First, you sign out, then you go to the app store and download an app, then it will ask you to sign in, then you will be signed into to the App Store but you won't be signed into iCloud. If you do this, it won't back up anything.

The main reason why I would buy an M1 mac is for the hardware. The software doesn't matter to me. I like MacOS and Windows, but the hardware is really the thing that would influence my decision because M1 Macs have SUCH good hardware.

Actually Android smartphone companies were the ones that pushed the industry towards bigger phones in the first place. Apple started making big phones starting with the iPhone 6 to compete with them. Apple didn't want to make bigger phones, but they had to because that's what everyone else was doing.

I mean I get what you are saying with the larger NVME drives. I use them myself in my custom PC and several laptops. At the same time though, I would argue moving towards the smaller form factor long term would be better for fitting inside of tighter and tighter spaces. There needs to be market adoption of the different sizes in order for them to be more mass produced and come down in size. If manufacturers start putting the 2230's in exclusively, while it may be a year or two of inconvenience, eventually you would grab that size at your Best Buy or Walmart just like the 2280's today. I for one, am all for shrinking stuff down as much as possible so we can fit more stuff in and make the designers jobs a bit easier in where to stick the storage. Again I understand where you are coming from with the price and general availability right now, but the only way to get to them being generally available, is to transition over like this, much like we have done with other tech over the years (think DDR5 RAM, was hella expensive a couple years ago and is now very easily available for a decent price).

I have a very small hungry warm farm. And this kind of bin would be kind of amazing for my little worms. I can’t throw out food because of big pests in the area. But this bin to dehydrate and mix it into a compost. Honestly it Sounds amazing. The price is way too steep though. It actually looks like a scam compared to actual dehydrators which are less maintenance and upkeep and costs way less.

I want it for developing and common documentation tasks. I use BSD or Linux systems so I guess that the fact it is arm architecture instead of the classical amd64 one will not be a big deal for me because the software I usually use is free (free in the meaning of free source and not as free in their price) so I can compile the code to binary specifically to arm architectures.

It's crazy how it is right now, I searched for ZF10 people marked up the price for new and used ones, honestly us small phone enthusiast can't get anything nowadays. Rest in Peace small phones.

You should have spent 90 seconds to peruse the documentation. It has all the same functionality as the previous LG Tones. To pause and resume audio you hit the button on your left. To skip forward or back tracks or chapters you hold down the plus or minus. As for the wires feeling flimsy, they do but they're very strong and don't break. I'm a ups guy and retract these dozens of times a day to talk to people with no issues. The most important thing to note about this model is the unheard of 22 hours of playtime.

Now that Asus of small phones are dead, and Sony not bringing the Xperia 5 over to the states, there really are only three players left in the small phone field 😞

Their benchmarks are mostly just for show. They usually dont know or bother relate it to real world usuage like Gamers Nexus. I remember calling them out on the M1 Pro export peformanc versus a Nvidia GPU and all they could say "its just faster" which i then went and learned that codecs have a lot to do with performance over rhe hardware. They also were sus with some thumbnails they used using MKBHD and lost repsect for them.
