Born in ‘53 - looking back on the late 60’s and 70’s it was a great time. It’s so sad the current generation can’t understand what they’ve missed. I’m just so glad I’ve got those memories.

Born in 1964 - The late 70's and 80's were alot more safer than the 20's, Families back then were real Families. Today everything is about what you have and the greed in the world is shocking and unbelievable. I bought a very nice house in the early 90's for under 50,000 pounds and it is now worth over 350,000 pounds, still makes me wonder what is happening today.

As an Englishman born in 1956, I feel incredibly fortunate to have lived under the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. While my upbringing was far from perfect, the institutions established during that period were built on solid foundations. These included, to some extent, Christian religious instruction, which provided a strong sense of identity and understanding of who we are as a nation. England prior to the 70s, was not without its flaws, but at least there was a sense of structure and purpose-a foundation to build upon. Now, it seems like a free-for-all, and I believe this has contributed to the decline of England. Our leaders seem to lack faith, vision, direction, and foresight, leaving them struggling to address the issues effectively. Other countries take note for your fate will go the same way if you do not start to take a stand. For what its worth you may as well bring back national service, at least they would have a place to sleep and food to eat, hey they might even learn a trade

Yeah the 70’ were great. I was 20 in 1975 and had a fantastic time. Our needs were simple , we laughed a lot and the girls were naturally prettier. No Botox, tattoos or big fat arses. And you could wolf whistle at a girl and she’d be flattered not offended. 🇬🇧👍👍👍

I left home in 1982 at 18, got a good job in the West End, bought my first flat in Fulham, partied, worked, sold my Fulham flat and bought the next in Chelsea, worked, went to Uni in 1985. The whole of the 80's was one long party for me. It was a fabulous time to be young, ambitious, and beautiful! As the PSB's said 'We were never being boring'.................................
