I actually think that both Godzilla and King Kong are awesome monsters but in regards to the monster-verse franchise the King Kong films are better in my opinion.

The reason why it's my least favorite is mostly because of the characters. King of the Monsters imo probably has the most insufferable characters and character decisions in the monster-verse franchise. I do like some things like the creature designs, the fight sequences oh and the music by Bear McCreary kicks a*ss. If it wasn't for the stuff involving the human characters it would be higher on my list.

Agreed but like I said film is subjective. I don't fault people for liking any movie, tv series or video games. I may never understand why someone would like something like Halloween 5 or Halloween Resurrection but they're people who not only like them but love those movies.

I like them in a so bad there're good kind of way.

I highly recommend you check out the film. That was the original plan and I am really interested in the idea of turning the franchise into an anthology series that will tell a different story that would surround itself in the themes of Halloween (the holiday).

I plan to review that one at some point. I've just been really busy with TH-cam and life in general. I have to also still cover the original Halloween II and Rob Zombie's H2.

Yeah Bruce Campbell is awesome but in this movie I just didn't like the character he played unfortunately.

It's actually my 2nd favorite. I am in favor of the next Halloween movie or series being an anthology like Halloween III was.

Who knows maybe they will do a anthology series on Peacock in between the release of Halloween Ends and the inevitable reboot.

I do think it's not the worst film in the franchise, it's a fun entry, Chucky has some of his best one liners in Child's Play 2 & 3 my favorite quote from this film is "Don't f*ck with the Chuck!" That carnival climax is an awesome third act, maybe not as awesome or memorable as the toy factory Finale from the second movie but still awesome. I think the worst film is Seed of Chucky but Child's Play 3 is one that I don't really rewatch as much as the others.

Nah dude, that's not what I said. I gave the movie a positive review.

I understand that the sequels could not aquire the rights to the original Shape mask but I wish they could've got as close as they could without legal troubles. I think if the Thorn trilogy had the mask from Halloween 6 in 4 and 5 that would have been much better.

I personally think that the landscape is changing. We got a whole trilogy of Michael Myers movies that were successful especially when it comes to the box office and recently we got confirmation that we're now getting a Friday the 13th prequel series on Peacock called Crystal Lake, also we are getting rumors that there is a bidding war on which studio would be able to have the rights to the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. I think the two big studios involved in the bidding war is Warner Bros and Blumhouse. If Crystal Lake and a new Nightmare on Elm Street Film is successful I think that it's safe to say that we might be moving away from the haunted house and demonic possession genres. It's just like when we were going through the remake and torture porn phase and transitioned to the found footage and haunted house genres.

Well I think back in the day King Kong was considered as horror for a while. I also really enjoyed this film at the time of recording this review it was my favorite of the Legendary's Monster-Verse films now it's a tie between this and Godzilla VS Kong.

I think that's kind of what Blumhouse did with it's trilogy. Starting with the clean mask from 1978 then the aged mask 40 years later then the mask got burned to a crisp and 4 additional years later even more rotten and moldy because of Michael living in the sewers.

Thanks! Honestly the only Sleepaway Camp film that I even like is Sleepaway Camp II. I still have yet to watch Return to Sleepaway Camp and I heard some things and all of them not good lol.
