Universal 8 Films … National Lampoon’s … ‘Disco Beaver From Outer Space’ (1979) super 8mm colour sound 400ft reel / 16:42mins … I’ve never seen this film until now and geeezzz it’s weird 😆 the colour has faded a bit but still got blues … sound was good too 🙂 Here’s some scenes from it … these scenes (I’m 99% sure) have no swearing or boobies 😆

Piccolo Film … ‘Fluncht Nach Texas (Escape To Texas)’ (1941) super 8mm b&w silent 400ft reel German titles from the film ‘Texas’ (1941) … This is new to my collection and being a western I wasn’t too worried that it was a silent German titles reel however there’s a lot of scenes with dialogue … easy enough to understand the story though 🙂 Here’s some scenes 🙂

Talking View-Master Electronic 3-D Viewer - sound not working

My ‘Talking View-Master’ electronic 3-D viewer that I won has arrived 🙂 It’s in a brand new condition but sadly the sound part is no longer working 😞 it was sold as untested and I was willing to take the risk at NZ$65 🙂 It’s very simple to use so I doubt I’ve used it wrong 🤔 I’m not sure whether to have a look inside to see if there’s a loose wire etc or keep it as I display piece 🤔

I’ve recently received this 16mm Castle Films release of ‘The Paperhangers Helper’ from the film ‘Stick Around’ (1925) b&w added music soundtrack … it stars Babe Hardy (Oliver Hardy) and Bobby Ray … made before Laurel and Hardy arrived on the film scene 🤔 … it’s a lot of fun and the soundtrack is fun too 🙂

The "Towering inferno" box are interesting! Here in Italy there was an complete bootleg super8 print (cropped) and a beautiful 16mm (in scope) for rental.

I can’t recall sorry but sometimes on some projectors you have to remove a cover (like if there’s a metal cover over the pulley) for access. I hope you can work it out :)
