@@fireworksfanatics2777 Thank you for replying as I drove for more than hour on the 5th of July to Fireworks Unlimited in Modesto and thought would be able to buy some stuff but couldn’t as I didn’t know the timings and reached there at 1:30 pm but it was closed by then along with nearby Freedom stand as well, feeling so awful for myself as I waited whole year for this😭

@@harishduttkapriify Ah I'm sorry to hear that, it's very hit and miss on the 5th and hard to know what is happening. Some places aren't open at all, some close early or open late.

@@awoo5560 I think 100% better and cheaper than Phantom. I tend to feel ripped off at Phantom half the time. TNT has better fireworks but also most expensive. DFS (not Freedom) is a great mix of value and quality fireworks. The Freedom stands are the best because you get (basically) TNT products but cheaper.

I'm up in the northwest, and all of these DFS stands are true DFS, no Freedom at all which kinda sucks. At least that was the case in 2023 and Im going to the same stand this year

@@fireworksfanatics2777 That's interesting since the TNT people mentioned that most of the Freedom goods were being stored in the Fresno warehouse. I am sure you know when TNT made the deal with DFS owner Ed, all they wanted were his SOCAL locations, which they turned into Freedom stands. They seem to care very little about Northern CA so Ed can do whatever he wants. Same for Johnny with his Fireworks Unlimited stands.

@@starshell1000 Yes you are correct. Before I moved away from home (Fresno area) all of the "DFS" stands were just Freedom only, which of course like you have said, is just TNT rewrap backstock. Last year looking at this same map on the DFS website last year(which is supposed to show true DFS stands and not DFS Freedom) I don't recall seeing any locations other than the 3 up here in the NW

Cheaper of course is always better, but it's not terribly priced. In Cali: 20 to TNT and the other 10 to the charity. I'd say it's a 20$ fountain

@@CumminsTV. Absolutely you could. DFS has the best prices and damn fine fireworks. Wish they were up and down the state, Freedom is good but not as good. That being said, there are some fireworks so iconic I will always go to TNT and get a Centennial or Purp Rains

Hey PyroMonkee! I think their crackle is cool too. I'm learning that DFS doesn't really have great VARIETY of effects, but their products are usually powerful

@@pyromonkee2510 Kinda pissed at myself for not buying any DFS finales. Wish yall had true DFS down there and not just Freedom. As far as I know, the only true DFS stands are up in WAY northern CA...where I just moved.

They also operate Freedom Fireworks which is just old rewrap stock of TNT. But up here in extreme northern CA they actually have true DFS product. Cheapest in the state

@@fireworksfanatics2777 TNT owns the Freedom stands. Part of the deal they made with owner Ed was he could keep his DFS stands in Northern CA, Oregon and AZ. SOCAL is where the money is, so TNT wanted that part of his sales. Obviously he did not say no.
