Heads up. There's not tutorials and his tips are vague because its scam. He's using chatgpt to generate false positive reviews and blendermarket doesnt do anything about it, not hard to make bot accounts and buy your own add on. He'll delete this comment but hopefully it saves someone from wasting money into a scam.
Why can't Blender just do this by default in this era of A.I. and whatnot? Why do we still have to click stupid points on the video frame by frame?

The addon needs a great computer ( 3090) and even so it don't work properly. Blender crashes almost everytime. Only on track work with high error 1.8px and it took 2 hours. I don't work for professional purposes.
Does it work for 5 minute long videos? and also 4k resolution

@@furkankaptan3916 I have a 3090 with 64 memory, i9 13 th, my computer almost explode to track a simple 1080 video. Blender crashes almost every time. I think the maximum suportes is a 10 sec video.

On my old pc flaxtrax is insanely slow, I know that my nvidia 950mx is very very old, but the standard blender tracker can track hundred of points in a 1000 frame timeline in few minutes. Instead flaxtrax freeze the blender interface forever and it can only track more or less 90 frames in 5 minutes. Can I check some settings in the plugin or blender to fasten flaxtrax? Thanks
Hello! If you prefetch the footage, the tracking process will be faster. Also, use 1080p for the fastest and best results. Make sure to read the recommendations on the front page of Blender Market to ensure that your footage is of good quality. is there an option to invert the mask ?
Is this better than the default blender camera tracker?? I see this addon is loading via blender, but is this really better than the default blender tracker?? In blender 3.6, I kept tracking some clips and even though I tried multiple times, but still the [solve error] is around 5 to 10. I wonder is this really helpful to my situation. Is this really better??
Does it still possible to track if we do not see the floor or the ground in the shot ?
Drone is easy one. Most hated by me is moving phone. And it works fine with phone video!
Bought this addon and used it. It makes tracking of simple phone video with just 0.6 error in coke of minutes while native blender tracker did it with 10 px error

Was it able to lower the error less than 1 within the native blender tracker? I'm tracking my clips and it's hard to lower the error with the native blender tracker. I was wondering is my clip 100% wrong taken videos or not? Was your clip also hard to lower down the error with the native tracker?
@@joepark9048 i think most of videos are trackable. I'll try to retrack my old phone videos with this new add-on and reply you with results.
Bro i swear the native tracking loses tracking points of phone footage for no reason. Like, sometimes there is no movement and no blur and it just loses the point anyways.

i have recently brought this addon today, i am looking foward to using it, the only thing i have problems with is finding a full tutorial on how to go about the full process adding models plus exporting etc.. if possible would yoou be able to create some more tutorials please

Hello, that sounds weird, please contact me on Blendermarket and describe which Blender version you are using.
I found the issue. It is not a bug. You just need to make sure that you have a camera in the scene. This option will disappear if you do not have a camera in the scene, and it will give you the message "No active camera selected.", so just make sure to add a camera.

I just bought your addon, but it can't work for me. I recieved this "(Make sure to use vertical footage setting for vertical footages) The footage is of too low quality. Please enter an image sequence with higher detail. Current quality score = 6, the score needs to be over 35 to be accepted. (The higher the better)". What is quality in this case? And how I can to improve quality? My Blender is 3.6. Addon 1.7 Can you help me?

How would you have pursued a better solve error in your example if you wanted something better than 0.26?
You simply put the maximum solve error to 0.26 px and the addon will process for a longer period of time and you will then receive a solve error lower than 0.26 px.

how about moving subjects in teh shot like dancing people, traveling cars that disrupt the track? is roto mask option available?
Yes, the addon includes a masking feature which lets you mask out external moving objects such as cars or people. Please watch the video where I went though this feature for more details.

This looks really good now, especially as you can use it with video footage rather than image files. (The Blender Market web page still shows this as version 1.3)

Why does it change the focal length I entered even if I unchecked Auto Focal Length?
Hello, to lock the focal length, ensure you have downloaded the latest version (1.7.0) of the add-on. Then, uncheck the "Auto Focal Length" option, enter the desired focal length, and enable the "Lock Focal Length" option.

These improvements look very useful. Suggestion: Make converting the video footage to an image sequence, an automated (and invisible) process. The user could then just point to a video file and FlaxTrax does the conversion to images as the first process. Thank you.

it just keeps giving me an error please enter the name of the clip/ enter the correct name of the clip i've put every name i can think of in the box nothing works
Hello, make sure that you copy and paste the correct name of you image sequence shown in the center of your screen. For example “0001.png”.
@@axelflax but see blender doesn’t care about the name and names it based on the 1st image you click on not the 1st image in the sequence it took me 2 hours to figure out I have to make sure it selected the “0001” 1st image because it won’t work if blender names it “0087”
@@evilkoolade but when you import the image sequence make sure that you sort the sequence by name in the import window that pops up.

Make sure you click on the recommended settings button, and have activated the find focal length feature. Make sure that your sequence length matches your footage length. For more tips read the documentation on Blendermarket or contact me on Blendermarket.
how do you know how much distance to apply on the parameters?
If you are unsure just use the recommended settings button.

Hi! Can I export tracking to houdini with camera and so on?
Everything you can usually do with a camera-tracked scene in Blender, you can do with the addon. When the addon finishes processing, it will create a perfectly tracked camera and tracking points. Then, you can export it as usual to other programs like Houdini, so it should not be a problem.

I'm trying the addon, im curious as to your PC specs though. I have an rtx3080ti and the addon just keeps loading indefinitely. so strange.

@@axelflax yeah i've read the documentation. My steps are : 1. Convert my video to png image sequence, 2. Prefetch the sequence, 3. copy the first image of the sequence to the box where it asks for the name of png. 4. Click recommended settings 5. start auto tracking and solving. Did i miss anything?
Make sure that you do not include any large external moving objects such as cars, humans etc. If you have moving objects in your scene make sure you have covered them with something like a black circle to avoid it interfering with the tracking. Please send over the footage if more problems occur.
