Hello, I'm relatively new to the Michigan kayaking scene and am wondering about local kayaking in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas. It sounds like, with proper water levels, one can kayak from Rockford South of the damn to Grand Rapids (Riverside Park). Is this accurate? What is a good water level for the Rogue? Any tips or routes would be appreciated at dennison.luke@gmail.com. Thank you for your time! Luke

@sicwit2009 I commonly put in just south of bridge in downtown Rockford (by the dam) when there's enough water visible on the USGS website. Sometimes at Packer (if that's correct) or Childsdale. Key is water level but when you want fun action I'll portrage through tall grass by the old mill and drop right by the rapids. Depending on time and patience I'll go to one of three bridges or the Grand River. Sometimes I just do really short paddles for kicks.

I agree with JayZoop. I have the Aeron with the forward tilt feature but I can't lock it all the way in the forward position with no reclining. No matter what I do, it still leans back a bit when I sit in it. Yes, I read the instructions and I know how to use the levers. The chair will just not lock in the 100% forward position. It leans back maybe 5-10% when I sit down.

HM is expensive but it's because it's no Ikea. Trying looking for it second-hand.

The basic photo movement and montage along with the opening logo animation was created in Apple Motion. The elements were then placed together using Final Cut Pro for music blending, credits, and placing stages of the day together. I certainly wish I had more motion experience to make that cleaner so often I'll just use "Photo to Movie" to create montage.

The recline lock lever can be used to adjust the amount of recline in steps. Push it in half way and the pin will hit one of the "steps" stopping it from going back further.

You are right. I totally figured out that the nob underneath the chair was too loose causing me to recline back too far. I tightened the nob and now it sits perfectly and it feels comfortable.

Those adjustments are totally possible on my old Aeron. It may depend on your model but the degree to which it reclines is controlled by the rear lever on the left side with multiple clicks to control degree. Also, I have old netting but the new stuff is amazing. I think the posture fit back is fantastic especially if you have issues. Either way, every Aeron should have a posture piece on the back; just not enough support with netting alone.

The netting is great but the hard rubber padding is annoying. Plus the back reclines back too much. I want to sit up with good posture not recline back when I working on a computer.
