The Curse of Monkey Island had such an effect on me when i was a kid that it altered my perception of reality and color in my immediate life. I would see bits and pieces of the blood island hotel in crummy hotels me and my family would visit when wed go on trips. i'd hear the Brimstone beach theme in my head at the beaches id go to. It was simply enveloping as an atmosphere and rarely do games manage to evoke such ambience that it seeps into your life like this. There will never be another game in the same caliber as Curse of Monkey island and that is 100% Ok.

I just played through Zak again after 30 years. Still magic. The whole Mars mystery thing of the game was over a decade before movies like Stargate,Mission to Mars, Red Planet etc . This so desperately needs a sequel. The Dig was a space mystery game too.

And also the name of the song. I'd appreciate that too.😊
