Love your vlogs fellow speechie💕
I just started my job as an SLPA with a school district after 5 years working on my bachelor's online. I feel a little worried, am I going to be able to catch on to everything? Your videos are so helpful, thank you!
Are you in IEP meetings as well?
I am currently an RBT who has been debating going to grad school to become a BCBA but I’m highly debating going into speech thank you for this!
This is such a great resource for SLPAs! Thanks for sharing your videos!
I’m applying to my CC to become an SLPA, so thank you for the reassurance! I got a bachelors degree in an unrelated field, but I have bad imposter syndrome about switching careers and this helps me so much ❤
I’m also a bit worried I won’t be able to handle special needs students. Do you work with them often?
This was super helpful, thank you!
Omg ! I love you! Thank u so much!!!! Every bit helped 🎉😊

I am on my journey of becoming a SLPA… This is very helpful, you are such a big help! Thank you for your videos❤
It’s so encouraging to hear you’ve found a new arena to use your SLPA skills, and you’re being challenged in new ways. I’m on my 3rd year in a school setting and I can see where burn out can creep in. I’m glad to hear there are other avenues. I get so much from your channel…thank you!
Thank you for your SLPA videos, Karina! We appreciate you so much!
Love your SLPA videos! Thank you, Karina! 😊
Hi Karina!! I'm a long term viewer and a fellow SLPA! Have you tried doing home health? The caseload is so much easier and you can make your own schedule so is less stress all around! I love your videos and your kids are the cutest!!
You can create your own schedule? Does that mean I can possibly work 4 days a week?
@@Bluemarinegirl you can work as many days as you like!
You have an anterior placenta? I do so I don’t feel kicks as regular and it’s still early 😅❤but I’m glad I feel her move around more. Definitely ordering mine
I am sometime worried about the pay of an slpa? What do you think of that
Wow! Great ideas! Appreciate your SLPA and Speech videos! Thank you, Karina!
Thanks for the help 🙂 🎉
Thank you, Karina! Appreciate your videos! 😃
Thank you for sharing, Karina! Love your honesty! Looking forward to your videos! 😀
Hey Karina, thanks so much for the video. I've been thinking about becoming a SLPA, but hearing you talk about the high caseload is already stressing me out. Can a SLPA ever say no to adding on more kids and if not is there a way to work part time?
If you’re a contract employee you can opt for part time

I know you posted this two years ago but I just found it and it has been so helpful. About to start working as an SLPA, but didn’t get into grad school. I was so devastated, but this has really changed my outlook. This sounds up my alley! Thank you so much for posting this.
You can't reapply for grad school?
How hard will it be to find part time work doing this?
This is SO helpful, thank you so much!
yay! I've been watching your channel ever since deciding to become an SLP last year so I'm happy to see a new video hehe
So helpful to know how to model speech for little ones using toys! Would love to see more!!! What other toys/language you use to target various concepts/goals etc. 😊❤
Loved the flips, super cute! I'm a bilingual mom finding it challenging to teach my little ones Spanish! I was wondering if you have a list of bilingual books that you recommend/your toddler has enjoyed? 🙏😊
I highly recommend looking into Books Beginning at Birth! It's a program that sends you bilingual books directly to your house. I also enjoy LovEvery's bilingual books! :)
I love your content around being an SLPA and also the mommy life. I'm a stay at home mommy considering going for my SLPA, and you're convincing me more its the right fit. Thank you for that! :)
I like your recipe but I don’t sub without being able to have ingreds and recipe link because when I want to come to your site again to make these I have to watch all over again. Usually I’m busy and can’t give much extra time . I dip my tort in the sauce then fry instead of spoon it on. Works well.
I sure wish you had the ingredients and recipe in description box.
I think you are doing a terrific job juggling homeschooling your son, SLPA job, and life! I have a CDA and a great deal of experience in Early Childhood ED and I enjoyed watching your engagement, attitude, and energy in this post as well as your pros and cons video for SLPA. I am working through the prerequisites I need to start doing my SPLA program and lately, I've been deterred from thinking of working in a school because I feel pretty strongly, that I want to homeschool my little one from elementary and beyond and am not sure how that will be possible but liked to hear I can potentially create my own schedule which will be vital in the logistics of working and attempting to homeschool at the same time. Take care you're doing amazing!!!
Hi is the baby is sitting on the plastic?
I am starting soon potty training and we are getting the summer potty toilet too. ♥️
You are so beautiful
Thank you, thank you, thank you! The instruction just said to pull on levers-no mention of loosening the screws!
Quick little tip , give him half broken crayons or peanut crayons for proper pencil grip !
thank you!
Great video! Thank you for all of your help. As a first year SLP-A you've helped me a TON. Thanks for all the info!!!!!!!
I love your videos :) so informative! thanks for sharing!
I don’t understand why you make 4 different drinks.

I think that was super rude of the host to tell you to keep it quiet because although it’s their place, you’re the one who is paying to stay there. You can be as loud as you want. Never tell an Airbnb guest, who is staying there to be quiet.
Thank you for sharing this , my i Ask you a q ?
How do you unblock them tried several times
Do you know if this car seat is aircraft approved?
I had the hardest time making a decision between OT and SLP. After some thought, I decided SLP. I decided to start watching your videos to get a better idea of what they do, and after watching this, I feel confident now in knowing that I made the right choice. Thank you for sharing what you do, and may I say, you’re excellent at what you do! I hope when I start working, I’m atleast half as good as you are.
Hi, I want to start my process to be a SLPA but go to a University is so expesive , I was thinking in start in a community collage in the program Early childhood education that will work in my path to become a SLPA?
