“The Astray is a close range type.” No that’s a gunpla genius, it can have literally any modifications on it with no justification. It could have a Chest Beam or Tequila Trident or even a transformation into a fighter jet. That’s such a stupid assumption to make and it’s even weirder that it turns out to be true but also the sword swings send out beams like it’s Zelda. Also, swapping to full burst for a charge shot was nonsensical. Bro you aren’t struggling to hit him hard enough, you’re struggling to hit him in the first place. That’s like swapping from a hand gun to a rocket launcher when you’re having difficulty shooting a bumblebee. You need more bullets flying or to force a predictable movement to land a hit. The falling rocks was a decent start but firing a bunch of rapid shots at the now airborne opponent would have been at least marginally more effective, though forcing your opponent into the air to have a predictable arc also means less with robots that fly and have thrusters to quick boost around with.

I shall call this the Double Zeta / Impulse Gundam Megazord. 😂.
