How much time in advance do I have to give you to create a t-shirt for someone's birthday
Screen printers don't do just one shirt for an individual. There's a limit. You'll need at least 6 or more shirts. There's a one-time set-up fee to do the artwork and to get it on a screen, depending on how many colors. A one-color set up is $35.00 Each print is $5.00

🔥Fire. How wide is the design? I just started and my screens are only 10.5 inches wide.
It's usually 10 to 12 inches wide on a 20x24 inch screen.

How do you know which colors to lay down?
You have to go from light to dark. If you print a dark color first, you won't see the brighter colors.

Which product is the cutting plotter?
Hey Ed, if you save your artwork in Illustrator as an EPS the vinyl software can open it and cut no problem.

Do you coat the screen on both sides? What type of emulsion do you prefer to use?
I've done a video late last summer, demonstrating how I coat my screens. I used to coat both sides, but I did one side one day to see what would happen and the screen came out fine. So, since then, I save on emulsion by only doing one side which is the outside. I use "Foto Blue SBQ" Emulsion.

I think you have blade on backwards. It's supposed to rotate the direction of arrow on blade.
