THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT SWORD NEEDED TO DO, IT MESSED UP SO BADLY even if they make it 4d, its still wouldnt be good but then the 2d did WHAT THE OG SWSH GAMES FAILED TO DO. this is what i meant to add more variety like make it very big like you know, the isle of armor which is very open world or atleast 2x bigger also pokemon should stop adding DLC's or they could make a B2&W2 kind of 3d game. and also they should make galarian slowpoke line a non DLC pokemon. dont know why they even did that

Sword and Shield was severely overhated and you cant change my mind. Small changes like that didint sudenly make a great game they just reveled the fact that this games are good

I had no idea sawk had so much hate, he was one of my favorites as a kid and he was in nearly all of my teams.

I have very few memories of my first playthrough of black version (I was 9), but one of those few is defeating Drayden with watchog. That I felt proud of.

I insisted on using Pachirisu every time I played because it was my favorite electric type. I would have used Purugly too, it being my favorite normal type, but I played Diamond and it's exclusive to Pearl :') I did get to use it later, when I got a Glameow by chance through wonder trade on X

I've used Sawk two times, including my first time playing when I was a lil kid, then again on another team where I also used Maractus. On my first playthrough I also used Pansear until I caught Darumaka. I think if I remember right, it was Samurott, Stoutland, Sawk, Darmanitan, Gothitelle and Haxorus the first time I played. The other team with Maractus and Sawk also had Swoobat, Seismitoad, Krookodile and Galvantula. Yeah I used Maractus and I love it, but I STILL forget it exists. I also remember some of my sisters team, she picked Snivy and she used Panpour, Purrloin and her absolute favorite new Unova Pokémon, Vanillite. Yeah, the most vocally hated one, next to the Trubbish line.

I know Vanilluxe gets so much hate but i have used it in many playthroughs of multiple games not just black and white. I have always liked it actually

Samurott, Zebstrika, Leavanny, Vanilluxe, Sigilyph, Reshiram (Musharna until I got Reshiram). That was my team back in 2011.

Pokemon platinum was my first pokemon game, pokemon black was my second. I have been a fervent Vanilluxe fan since I was like 14. Every playthrough, I’d have one on the team. Also Klingklang but I’m not sure if that’s as unpopular.

Sawk with my name is kinda weird to see. What was the reason behind the name? anyway this year I played Pokemon white with only bug types and it wouldn't be beatable without Crustle's Sturdy and healing in cycle to reach end of enemies PP. But I really enjoyed it. My team was: Leavanny, Scolipede, Volcarona, Crustle, Galvantula and Durant. I really wanted to use Heatmor as a Bug eating Pokemon but i stayed faithful to the idea.

Funnily enough, during my 2nd playthrough of Pearl (in 2009), I had a team with all 3 of the Pokemon in the thumbnail. And it was not a good team by any means, but damn it was fun!

Wait, people think that patrat and watchhog are ugly? I always liked the way they look. Edit: Why do the sprites look so blurry? They look way better on my copy of the game.

Hot take: Pansear is good, just underwhelming compared to other fire types like Darmanitan and Chandelure

I used a watchog in my first white playthrough. I think its one of the better designed early normal types. A meerkat thats also a traffic police makes so much sense and i like how it has so much focus in its eyes it looks like it could shoot lasers from them

I have only ever played Pokémon by picking Pokémon I LIKE. I use ones like Cubone (my favorite) and Pidgey and never drop my starter!

Gen 5 is my favorite together with gen 4; but badge shining was in gen 4 too!

I like Patrat / Watchog. They're definitely underappreciated.

The team I used the most consisted of: Samurott, Conkeldurr, Vanilluxe (yes I actually used it, it’s my favorite ice type), Bisharp, Chandelure, and Eelektross. I’m so attached to those mon and they’re all some of my personal faves. Gen five was massively underrated and I’m so glad it’s getting a resurgence

I stupidly judged Gen 5 purely off the weird Pokemon designs and refused to play it until 2019. I was horribly wrong. It took me back to when I was a kid playing for the first time. Playing with new creatures, the awesome music, and the overall tougher game made it an experience I'll never forget. If it isn't my favorite gen, it's definitely top 2.
