I’m 25 so I never watched him live on air but my grandfather had VHS tapes and DVDs so I’d watch it with him when I visited in the early 2000s. He’s gone now but re-watching red skeleton is one of my favourite memories with him and I still have those :)

Boy I wish you could find the episodes where Johnny Carson stood in for Red. Another strange request would be when Johnny Carson had his old show and the joke was that Red Skelton was gonna be on the show. Finally Red tied him up and said good night lol.

Richard Bernard Eheart? Haven't heard that one. Red did say he fabricated a middle name of Bernard in school just to placate a teacher who insisted his middle name could not possibly have been Red.
