2024 Young Alumni Event: Three financial lessons I wish I knew
Watch Lel Smits and Geoff Lloyd, in a captivating fireside chat - where they will unveil three invaluable financial lessons that have been crucial to their personal and professional triumphs.
Both UTS alumni, Lel Smits, a former Wall Street journalist and award-winning entrepreneur, and Geoff Lloyd, boasting over 20 years of C-Suite experience in financial services, will share pivotal moments that have shaped their paths to financial wellbeing.
Through personal anecdotes and practical insights, young alumni will glean wisdom from two industry luminaries and walk away with three key financial lessons to help fuel their own success.

Mr. George Koukis, thanks a lot for making my day! Till today, I met you, I had been believed that making a profit is the first and foremost criteria of an entrepreneur. However, you showed us a different way, to give back to the society where we found our means to grow. When you serve your clients, give the best in you, and thus build a happy clientele. Your faith in young people is admirable. The mentoring program for young leaders all over the world is a fantastic idea. Thanks, UTS, as well.

What a difference with that Amazon bastard who is squeezing his people to the limit, and says in the interview that he does not know any better way to invest his money in than space 😠 what about giving the workers better wages and normal working conditions? And after that, solving poverty and zillion other problems. Thanx, George. First time I hear someone saying that they strive to give the employees the best salaries and to really care about them.
