@@knifelife8305 I finally got an AD20. A 3v non-MG (if it's not MG, and not I, does that make it a custom?) with aftermarket OG ti scales. No idea what it's worth, but I traded a user Anthem I got from a pawn show for $110 for it. It showed up the same day as a knife I've been chasing for about 10 years (rex 121 K2). I've barely touched the K2, and the AD20 has been in my pocket since I got it. Can't really think of a better endorsement than that.

Their PVD holds up extremely well. You shouldn’t have any problem with it holding up, and will have a fantastic battle worn look! 🔥🔥

To get the pin out use a punch and mallet and gentle strikes on the pin. Should come out. I have had to do this numerous times on the newer ones

@@knifelife8305 I have one on the way, now. A full thickness, 3v version with aftermarket liner delete titanium scales. Traded my user Anthem for it, which feels like a good deal.

Random(ish) question... Isn't this just a 4" blade? Like 10 years ago, i was visiting a friend of a friend and he had a sng/smf looking thing, but it was at least 5" blade length. He had a massive Strider collection, so im reasonably certain it was legit. Any idea what that would have been?
XL’s tend to be in the 4.5-5inch range. This one is in the 4.5inch range. The Strider AR is also in that blade length range.

Wow. Honesty. I don't have the Evo but after a lot of videos with everyone loving it, it refreshing to hear something different. Thanks for the honesty.
This is one of the knives that really hammered home how different my preferences are, from the knife community as a whole. It even made me have some completely irrational spite against CKF for a while. I got one right at the peak of their hype, and nothing about it felt right. Its somehow huge and small at the same time, and in the worst possible ways. It also felt cheap in some weird way that i can't explain. Edit: oh damn, you mentioned the cheap thing too! Thats hilarious. Ive never heard anyone else say that.

I think I'd be able to temporarily ignore my abject hatred of Mick Strider for a KRT, or one of these.
I know this is an older video, but I’d just like to throw out that when it comes to blade length and legalities, it’s cutting edge that is measured. Not choils, not to the handle, not to the pivot. It’s cutting edge.. I appreciate the review, southern edges has a bunch of these in stock right now, just deciding if I want a 3rd Eklipse and in what finish.
@@ronin8490 that’s not necessarily true, most states in the US measure from the tip of the blade to the handle, not all states. I believe Connecticut and Nevada measure it based on cutting edge. No matter what though. If you get a police officer that is harsher they can measure it how they see fit. Just be smart and careful with the knives you carry. Also I hope you liked the review, thanks for the comment and that feedback. Also I don’t think one can have too many Eklipse’.

Amazing collection! I went to the Blade Show in Atlanta for the first time and I was like a kid in a candy store. I had my hinderer scale swapped out for the titanium battle bronze ones. Their customer service was outstanding. I met the owner of Medford knives and just bought the Utgard fixed blade the other night. I also just bought another TRM, the Neutron. Lastly, I bought the Kizer Mystic which has been impossible to find online! Oh and I bought the Pyrite lite on amazon, I couldn't decide so I got both blue and green. Needless to say I have a knife problem. NIce score on the Strider. I must have missed that booth.

The Demko is scales are show only too. Larger diamond pattern, more contoured on edges with inner chamfer. Just loosen the pivot screw a tad and it will scream! Congratulations!
Oh I noticed the subtle differences between this AD20S and my other one, I love when they do things different for the show, even if it’s slightly different. And oh trust me, I’ll get it to run super smoothly. I’ve gotten my other Demko’s so smooth even people at the Demko booth were wondering how I did it 🤣 also thank you man. It was a fantastic show.
