There’s an audible tick that has formed from someone scratching the disc in the past 60 years. The oil would dry out and someone would turn it on and cause the scratch of the anodized aluminum disc. I fully cleaned the oil can and disc but cannot repair the scratch yet. The mechanical noise is from the motor and the pinch roller they used instead of a belt. I believe the pinch roller brass bush...

Got to love adding electro-mechanical effects into your guitar signal. I’m a fan of all these lofi and weird guitar effects that have nearly been phased out by semiconductor/digital technology. Uncle Doug does a fantastic job (as usual) in describing how these effects work and actually builds one of his own.

Just dug my father’s Farfisa Mini Compact out of the closet. As far as I know it was a one owner. It’s in great physical condition. I don’t know what it will take to get it operational again. I haven’t tried it because we don’t have an amp. No one here plays the keys so I’m probably going to sell it.
@@2isaach yeah they all need a lot of capacitors replaced since they’re 60 years old. Sometimes some transistors also but definitely the caps needs replaced
OMG that beauty. I would kill for a unit
Hello I just got the same accordion and was wondering if I can get the organ to work with just a 5 pin din connector to aux jack connector? I don’t have the foot pedal or any cables to hook up to an amp as well I see it has a aux jack port not sure what that’s for.
I have one just like it. I think I bought it for $15.00 in the 1980s from a girlfriend. It needs some work and I have other guitars I play, not this one. But it looks good hanging on the wall.
me: the crazy sampleer
I have a wuzitler piano
I'd kill to get alone time with this thing
window seat
Butiful
I bought one of these at a garage sale for $5. It just made a loud hum. It was a simple fix. The schematic for the amp was on the inside the cabinet. 👍👍
truly stunning
so beautiful i could cry
I wish I'd never sold my 200A. It was in perfect condition. Tuning and replacing tines was a constant PITA but still...
These are extremely rare and highpriced for SS amps nowdays ive own one in 2008 to 2010 got it only 120€ 😅 nowdays people asking over 230 euro's for these amps😮😮😮
Beutiful
Ohhh so this is how elevator music is made
The 4th switch position was neck only, with a ‘rythmn filter’. Smeck was a Ukele vituoso (who also played banjo, mandolin and other strings well). He was a teenage prodigy from the 1920s, and Harmony later named many instruments for him.
This sounds fantastic
sounding real nice
This is so good
Why is it called "seventy three"?
That thing is so cool. Retro chic.
Holy shit he is fucking that thing.
Beautiful! Thank you. 😍
lovely
Not bad!!
Damn, that sounds good! Smooth as silk.
can never get enough of the sound the rhodes piano makes.
Verrry interestink! 🤔
add another piece of music equipment to the wish list that ill never afford. 🍻
things that end too soon ...
He should totally be playing the theme from The Jetsons!
Greatest instrument company in the world
For a moment at the beginning, I thought you were going to play green eyed lady by sugarloaf
How you NOT going to play the Jetsons.

Saaaaaaweet!

Fantastic.
Everything's cooler in Bakelite.
I thought he would be playing the theme song to the Jetsons.
Just know Divine Miss Badu would dig, SMOOOOV 👍🎶😎
Circle of pi
Nice work. Thank you for that.
music name please
_Window Seat_ by *Erykah Badu* . It's on her 2010 album "New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh)". _Window Seat_ beautifully captures the vibe of early 70's soul.
@@hlcepeda thanks!
@@jGuedeszero100 No prob. FYI: She has a music video of that song on TH-cam.
beautiful
So I was actually expecting the Jetsons theme, particularly because I've played a Seventy-Three which REALLY looked like a computer console from Forbidden Planet, like glittery aqua-green with a swept-wing design for the legs and even more of a blobby-futurism basic design to the cabinet. Yours is a little futuristic but the one I played was ludicrously futuristic. Mostly sounds great, but I hope you've tuned this thing in the couple of years since this video because there's definitely some stuff that sounds a little flat in there.
Sounds like a kk slider song in all the best ways
Nice tone!
Really nicely done. What a beautiful keyboard!
