Welp, never expected this run to turn out so well after a slow start. But the Ironclad carried me with a super spicy run.
Watcher was struggling all the way it felt while gremlin horn was doing gremlin horn things, however still managed to finish rather fast.
All in all im not overly satisfied with this time but im done with this category for the moment. There is just so many things that has to click to get a good time and it's quite a challenge both mentally and physically.
Might dabble back into some regular 4 char any% and see what we can do :)

This run was nothing special to be honest, just a lot of grinding and bashing my head against the wall to get some decent RNG. Could have been sub 30 for sure but i was a bit shaky at the final rest site and missed the double boss. Hope you enjoy! Just a small PB, could have been a minute faster but playing flawless all the way through is kind of rough. The defect part was pretty sweet apart from the Nemesis. So ive been getting more and more comfortable with controller but it still feels unintuitive and clumsy. As shown here i still make stupid mistakes however the last elite fight in act 2 mispath is what i would call a happy little accident (rip Bob Ross) giving me juzu, which hard carried an astonishing 52 second act 3. Thanks to all the amazing glitchfinders (Speedfrog, Oohbleh & more)in the sts speedrunning community this category has gotten way more consistent. Namely the node dupe which can double shops and campfires but also basically give a free extra turn against elites. Lo and behold, this is Defects true form! It's been a tough category to run since Defect has no real big scaling attacks like the other characters, so it should come as no surprise that Prismatic Shard is the mvp. This category is truly mental, ive spent 95% of my time resetting Defect so this is actually my first completed run after over 1000 resets. Defect has been growing on me lately and does feel a bit better to play the more i delve into it. Smoke Bombs really shine here since the damage output can be relatively low compared to other classes. Not much else to say, act 3 was really smooth and all in all no major mistakes. This was a rather decent runthrough which shows that getting the nuts from double act 1 boss is basically all you need. Juzu pickup in act 2 definitely helped speed up things. I have really been enjoying this 'new' route with Physical Defect as a starter in the 4 char speedrun category. This run is basically a showcase on how to make as many misplays as possible and still get a good time. I dont even know where to start, ill just blame it all on being cold, hungry and a bit dozy.
