I literally just got home from riding the same trail and TH-cam suggested this video.

Stay on the trail! Riding off the trail is why more and more trails are being closed to OHV's. Nice video and thanks for sharing. That road is gnarlier and steeper than I thought it would be.

I'm a novice dirtbike rider, is this a good place to learn riding on trails?

Nice Ride. Where did you start and finish? Alice/St. Mary? Is it doable on a KTM 890 Adventure R with an experience rider in your opinion?

It is not okay to ride off the trail. Please in the future, keep your tires on the trail. This is especially important in the high alpine tundra which only has a 2-3 month growing season so any damage done by riding off road takes years or decades to recover. You can see this on the very trail you recorded on the hill climb with tracks on either side of the road blocked off. Please do your part to make sure these trails stay open for the generations to come by not giving the opponent any excuse to shut down our sacred trails.
