Restore True Tone on iPhone without original screen
Most reputable repair shops have devices to transfer original serial numbers from the old broken screen to your new screen. If the phone has been repaired before and the screen serial was not transferred to the new screen it creates a bit of an issue. This video will help you navigate past this hiccup and use the QianLi icopy and computer program to write in the serial number and restore True Tone functionality.

I bought an original screen used in china everything is original. do I always need to go through your technique or can I activate it directly in the phone settings? need answer please..
Even original/OEM will not have true tone if you do not flash over the screen info from either the motherboard like he did in the video or from the original screen itself, every single screen is tied to the one specific phone/motherboard that it was put with in the factory.
Could please help me ? i have the qinali repair helper program on my pc , but i have to register, but it needs a verification code, how do you activate the program ?

Amazing video compared to others managed my 1st restore of True Tone on an iPhone 8 Plus... May be worth mentioning I struggled to get software on my PC initially so I downloaded the Icopy version instead of the cloneboy (I use mega idea clone-boy red device) It worked 2nd time around so probs my error but I’m so chuffed it was successful & couldn’t have done it without this video. I’m glad the devices pretty much use same process and can change to English aswell because initially thought I’d have to learn Chinese 😂

true tone does icopy works only on iphone?? does true tone means same display functionality and clarity on non original display folders plzz do reply..
Yes it’s the auto brightness adjustment feature that’s retained as anytime screen is changed from a non original it loses the data unless it’s done at time of screen change but cowboys don’t tend to inform you of this and just change it withou using a data programmer like clone-boy/man or icopy device and unless your aware of what True Tone is you perhaps would never realise the function has been lost but if you do have a preference to OEM quality then I’d always pay that bit more to have it done properly as parts wise screen is only around £3-5 more and you get the quality of the original features then...

Hi, i did the same as you and icopy says ok to every step, but i still dont see the true tone, even tho i can see the same mtsn on the icopy, i tried with diferent lcds but nothing
You so need to have original the ear piece and camera cable for the true tone to work
Before you make a video, 1. make sure your camera position can take all of the action... 2. Explain step by step with action Jeeezzz.. this is the worst tutorial video...
if you are looking to DIY this, im pretty sure you are knowledgeable enough to figure the details - install the software, connect the icopy to the pc most likely with some usb, grab the iphone tool program etc....
