    Would you believe I am a Knicks fan? LOL SMH Had the chance to be a Lakers fan in the eighties but fell in love with Rick Pitino and Mark Jackson in 1986 to 1987 season, which was also my freshman year in high school, and the first year I got cable TV so I watched every game. When they hired Pat Riley for those few years and went to the finals after being the 8th seed and lost by a Hakeem Olajuwon block in game 6 of John Starks Three-point shot. If he had made that shot he would've been greater in Knicks fans' eyes than Willis Reed. I have learned a lot from that experience and this is why I am making this suggestion. It happens almost all of the time except in Oklahoma City Although Paul George had to ask for a trade before they did the obvious Danny Ainge used to be an exception as well he is too attached to Jaylen Brown, who is a valuable asset. The Celtics could have been had a Championship Dynasty if he was not so gunshy on pulling the trigger on a trade. Fans and quite often front offices have this fanatical attachment to certain players for what they think they might become and forget to focus on becoming an NBA Finals Championship Dynasty. Lack of focus. They focus on the wrong thing like keeping a fan base happy or ticket sales etc. Nothing should ever get in the way of focusing all of your actions to become an NBA Finals Championship Dynasty. That should be the primary focus of all teams. The only thing is decency and morality. That's the only thing you do not violate to become an NBA Finals Championship Dynasty. Toronto is finding this out. Masai Ujiri shouldn't have made a promise he could not keep. That was cold-blooded because he told DeRozan that he wasn't going to be traded. Toronto's players are still mad about that even with a Championship under their belt. He was cold-blooded about Dwayne Casey too. But he made the right decisions for the franchise and they won a Championship. Maybe Danny Ainge is attached to Jaylen Brown like this now since he was so cold-blooded with Isaiah Thomas. And the league raked him over the coals for it too. The Sixers are another team in this predicament. They could easily set themselves up to become a dynasty by trading both Simmons and Embiid and get an Oklahoma City Thunder situation. San Antonio Spurs got in their feelings and messed up getting what the New Orleans Pelicans got for Anthony Davis. The GM for New Orleans Pelicans got fired for listening to their advice and hired someone who would focus on becoming NBA Finals Championship Dynasty by flipping Anthony Davis for all those assets to build their franchise in the future. I am getting that same feedback from fans of the Suns and Timberwolves NOW. Given there is a risk of becoming the Jerry West led LA Clippers if they fail to win a Championship and the Brooklyn Nets but facts are facts. Fans and front offices are overly attached to a player or to anything other than becoming an NBA Finals Championship Dynasty, the focus is off. Gotta keep your eyes on the PRIZE. Gotta keep the main thing the main thing to paraphrase LeBron James and Franklin Covey who he is quoting. The main thing, in this case, is becoming an NBA Finals Championship Dynasty.

    Minnesota Timberwolves trade Karl Anthony Towns, and De Angelo Russell, to the Phoenix Suns for De Andre Ayton, Mikal Bridges, Tyshon Alexander, Cameron Johnson, and Jalen Smith and at least as many picks as the Clippers gave the Oklahoma City Thunder for Paul George. This way Minnesota Timberwolves would be built around an extremely young core of players including 2️⃣ #1 overall picks plus their young talent and the prospects that they will be able to draft over the next few years. This would put them on track to compete with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the New Orleans Pelicans for an NBA Finals Championship Dynasty. It also means that the toxic culture they have now will not have much of an opportunity to corrupt Anthony Edwards. They can entice the best coaches to come and lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to the promised land. The Phoenix Suns would have a window over the next few years to push for an NBA Finals Championship and it pushes them to be relevant contenders. It's a Win-Win for everyone involved. Sounds like a plan? Well, here's the thing to weigh when you mulling this over and over in your mind's eye 👁️: Are the Minnesota Timberwolves going to win an NBA Finals Championship 🏆 as presently constituted? No, they most likely will not. So what's the point of keeping Karl Anthony Towns and De Angelo Russell together on this roster? They both want to play with their best friend Devin Booker and this would make it more likely that they will all stay on the Phoenix Suns and will likely be in contention for an NBA Finals Championship and they are all already getting paid, plus De Angelo and the rest of the trio can learn from Chris Paul while he is in the twilight of his career how to be consummate professionals. It's a Win-Win for all parties involved in the trade. The Knicks had this problem of being too attached to Kristaps Porzingis when Phil Jackson could have traded for Jaylen Brown and the pick that turned into Jayson Tatum, what would the Knicks be like if they had accepted that trade from Danny Ainge? Even if they had picked Markelle Fultz or Josh Jackson or De Aaron Fox? Both teams need to look at their players as assets and look clearly at their potential future.

    Clippers may trade Lou for Rondo by trade deadline which I hope they don't... I don't believe they need a true point guard OD, it would be inefficient to have kawhi n PG13 waiting for a corner three most possessions. Pat Bev only needs to bring the ball up, because Kawhi or PG13 will start the offense. Clippers covered their weakness on the "pick N pop" with the addition of Ibaka, so they should be good in the future. 👍

    the main reason they didn't make it into the 2nd round is because porzingis didn't play, but yeah, they needed to add some physical, defensive dudes for sure. if kp can stay injury free, they'll finish top 3 in the west

    • @dasportsinsiderguy

      I definitely agree with that opinion.... I think getting James Johnson did help with that but it is still a weakness for them for sure. if they had got Marc Gasol in free agency, it would be a less of weakness but they lost that sweepstakes to the lakers

    • @tolstoyed
      @tolstoyed 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dasportsinsiderguy i reckon richardson and green will help on defensive end as well. also, brunson and powell both missed the playoffs b/c of injuries and cauley stein for personal reasons. so just having those dudes back this season will help quite a bit as well. those 4 were all used in rotation heavily, powell even as a starter. also there were rumors that they're looking to get rudy gobert, so that could still happen... if they stay injury free they're looking strong

    • @allenxavier6073
      @allenxavier6073 3 ปีที่แล้ว
