A bit cool and sunny Saturday morning. Zahra enjoys the wood structure, but flees when big brother Moke approaches. She then quickly climbs back up when he's out of her sight.

Orangutans are having fun by crossing the O-Line, and the tourists are quite entertained. Or maybe it's the other way around. Maybe to the orangutans, we the human are a show that entertains them instead:)

It's a rainy day, and not many animals are outside. This video is a collection of several animals that I see: Bennett's wallaby, Kunekune pigs Otis, Winston and Norman, Alpaca, Andean bear mama Brienne, gray seal, North American Porcupine and Allen's swamp monkey. Note: some of the on-screen descriptions of the animals are based on information from Smithsonian National Zoo site and Wikipedia.

Ian and Sear are almost 2 yrs old, and they're transferred to Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend, Indiana on 09/24/24. The zoo provided four cakes for Ian, Sean, Mama Brienne and Papa Quito on 09/21. We'll miss Ian and Sean and hope they'll have a great time at their new home in Indiana!

The prairie dogs eat kale. Several small training cages are set up with kale put inside. This is to train the prairie dogs to be able to cooperate in case medical exams are needed.

I’ve been to this zoo before since spring of 2017 and I know these apes in this video by their names the large alpha male of the family is Kyle, the mother and her son are named Batang and Redd and the other female is Bonnie.
