I've kinda stopped doing videos but someone asked me to post the video I made of the final scene of Supernatural's midseason finale, so here it is. Please enjoy.

Imagine if Michael was there. I don't know, maybe he could've warned Sam that the visions are a lie and it's all Lucifer. Or maybe, he would joined in on the charm and also relentlessly torture both of them.

Why did Lucifer tell him that it was he who was sending those visions...he could have got a 'yea' in other ways. He should have also sent visions where he allowed Lucifer to enter and then saw later that Lucifer was forced out....the 'forcing out' being a fake vision to how it would actual play out of course. 🤣 The only reason to tell him that was to f'ck with Sam. 😅
If lucifer didn't tell sam he was the one sending the visions he probably would've got sam to say yes

Jared did good acting showing fear. The way he backed against the cage and holding his hands up he did good showing sam's fear

Dean & Sam are direct decenants of Cain & Abel. A bloodlie dating back to Micheal & lucifer, that's what makes the winchesters different & special compared to other hunters. Cain is Dean's equal & Sam is Abel's equal. Lucifer did the same thing to Abel , Cain tells Dean , Abel wasn't talking to God, it was Lucifer. Now Lucifer did it to Sam!

You can tell Sam is terrified, but he’s trying so hard to be calm and look tough. He’s so brave and amazing 😍💖
I think people overlook that this was technically the first time we've seen the real Lucifer since Season 5 ending. For him he's been in the cage at two different times in his life. 1 was when he was put there by God and knowing the one day he would be set free to start the apocalypse, 2 was when it failed and he was put in there with no ending in sight. Living in a hell knowing you'll get out, for an immortal being, is nothing, but doing it knowing you'll never get out would have to twist you as a character. Turning you a bit more insane than when you believed all of it was for you to succeed and take over the Universe.
Lucifier did things to Sam on a sexual abuse level other than torture. If that isn't stressful for him to remember.
4:38, oh come on!! No one ever gets it right, when you cry cause of pain or sadness the first tear comes outta the left eye while when you cry due to happiness, it comes from the right. So I’m pretty sure Sam’s tear was due to pain and fear and still it came out of his right eye.

Crying is response of the sympathetic nervous system, a predominantly parasympathetically-mediated reaction that triggers it. The autonomic physiological processes doesn't distinguish a specific emotion to a specific side a lacrimal glad releases tears; that's not based in science or reality. The left/right sided idea is an old wives' tale.
So they have adam and Micheal in the cage but they call Lucifer to fight darkness . .... Michael is still better than Lucifer

The thing that hurts me here is the fact that Sam then had to handle Lucifer in Cas's -his 2nd trusted person- body... can't imagine how hard it was for him....
Imagine if the Series ended here with Sam getting stuck *PERMANENTLY* in the Cage with Lucifer, to save the world, again.
As a Sam girl I'm sure glad it didn't.
Imagine if Sam had gotten stuck on there again, I don't think they could've fixed him this time.
He wasn’t really fixed the first time around. He doesn’t make a huge deal about it, but he’s NEVER been ok.
@@odile8701 You're right, that's a lie he's taken to the grave, "I'm fine" "I'm okay" but I meant there would be no wall to put up if they got him out, and he'd be like S7 E17 "until his candle blows out" like he couldn't even pretend because to him, no matter what "you're not real" you know?

Sam's mental struggles in season 6 and mainly 7 are amongst my favorite part of the whole series. So while I am only watching this now, it has me shaking. These two actors together are amazing. Sam crying and crumbling right there is just... gosh my heart is broken.

Lucifer didn't torture Sam in the cage. he told sam that he would never hurt him or lie to him which he never did. he wanted nothing more than sam to be happy. he valued sam's consent to the point that he wanted sam's yes to be genuine, and even after sam had said yes, he made sure that sam understood why he was doing this. even if he had wanted to, raping sam in the cage would have been impossible because he had no corporeal form hallucifer is a hallucination, not the real lucifer, like seriously, he shouldn't even have to explain this, his behavior isn't even remotely the same. it's quite easy to compare the situation with that girl who was in the hospital with sam, her brother had died. and then her ghost had returned. and for a while he was nice, but then he started getting violent and acting completely different from her and trying to get her to kill herself. also, hallucifer is a cage fabrication. the cage itself is torture and it's surprising that sam didn't come out worse (that's why lucifer definitely tried to protect him). this gifset is a pretty solid explanation. hallucifer is also a product of sam's pain and self-loathing. he hates that he left Lucifer alone, and he hates that he can't fix everything. he is torturing himself. And what could be worse than the only person you thought you could trust, torturing you? exactly and lucifer would gladly jump because he cared so much about sam. and because he didn't want to kill michael. it is an irrefutable canon, lucifer himself said it, he wanted to cancel the apocalypse. but Michael wouldn't listen. jumping in the cage was the only option for him. Well besides the fact he saw Lucifer's True face While he was torturing him but come on it's Satan who would be comfortable with that

If he didn’t tell Sam that he was the one sending the visions then Sam might have said yes and let him in
THAT’S WHAT I THOUGHT! That seems so stupid on Lucifer’s part and it just doesn’t seem like a Move Lucifer would pull. Plus with Dean not there to tell Sam he wasn’t going to be Lucifer’s vessel that gave Lucifer a MUCH greater advantage to getting Sam to say “Yes”. Also if he didn’t try to hurt Sam into saying “Yes” or reveal he was sending visions to him and just let Sam be and walk away from the cage, knowing Sam he’d prolly try to go back to the cage without Dean knowing IF Sam did walk away, then Sam would’ve said “Yes”, since ya know Lucifer NEEDS Sam he’s his VESSEL! Edit: I mean he didn’t FORCE Sam to say “Yes” before so WHY would he do it now (as I’m beating Sam, Dean, & Cass and threatening to kill Dean if Sam didn’t say “Yes”

3:15 The first time I watched this scene.. I still remember how I'm having goosebumps and the seeing Sam cried as he still having the trauma. Gosh Lucifer was.. damn.. or maybe because it was all Lucifer all along. Damn you, you don't do that to Sammy..

To be fair he invented lying in this show's universe; it's Lucifer's Lucifer that never lies.

Yeah at first he really didn't lie. But I like to think when he was longer on Earth he became more "human" and started lying. But then again his whole character changed after s12 so idk

Ugh the writing for this plot twist was so clever!! Like that situation was literally Sam's worst nightmare and they manipulated it to fit the storyline perfectly...
