Tbf, King Triton is probably the parent with the most character growth on this entire list. He grew as a character more than Ariel did! In some ways, The Little Mermaid is more a story for parents about how to allow your children to grow into their own people. I give him major points for his growth alone!

Yes! Perdita was very strong to give birth to 15 puppies, but she wouldn't have if there was no Pongo, so they're equally awesome!

The king in Cinderella seems to have had a closer relationship with his son when he was younger. He laments that he's growing farther and farther away from his son (in front of a 50 foot tall painting of him giving the boy a piggyback ride!) In Cinderella 3, they do give him more characterization, and he has some very sweet scenes with Anastasia.

I LOVE Archimedes! And Percy! They probably would’ve been on my top 5. It’s interesting to hear your different perspective on the other pets and seeing how excited you get about these characters. It makes me want to rewatch some of these movies again to appreciate some of these pets I haven’t paid much attention to!

Ooo, I love all your explanations! Some of my thoughts… King Triton-I agree with your points here. But I will say the King Triton of the movie and the King Triton of the animated series are vastly different and I absolutely prefer the animated series version. While he’s still racist toward humans, he recognizes his temper is a problem and legit takes steps to change it and admits his mistakes. So, I actually really like animated series Triton My top 5 1: Pongo and Perdita-They adopt 84 orphans. C’mon. And I love that what interactions we see with them and their children are always full of love and compassion. When their children are taken, literally nothing stops them. 2: Mufasa-I mean, it’s Mufasa. He’s wise, patient, and I love that he has actual conversations with his child and explains why things are important. And yeah, he dies to save his son so… 3: The Sultan-Again, the animated series really shoots him up in the ranking. We see so much more of his relationship not just with Jasmine but also with Aladdin. And we see he absolutely is a good ruler, who genuinely cares about his people. 4: Kala-she loves Tarzan so much. I love how she takes steps to make sure that even though he’s different, he knows how much he is loved and special. 5: All the parents in Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears. Seriously. They’re all so good. Flawed and imperfect characters but so full of love and guidance. Gruffi is stern, grumpy but absolutely would move heaven and earth for not just his adopted cubs but the human children they embrace too. Grammi is like Mrs. Potts with a bit more spice. Ursa is a literal Mama Bear, King Gregor while recognizing the importance of diplomacy puts his daughter’s happiness first

The March Hare and Rabbit are two of my favorite Disney characters. I can see why they're ranked so low when compared to the other sidekicks, but man. 🐴 Free my boy March Hare, he leads the Unbirthday Song. He's always getting the shaft in favor of his bestie the Mad Hatter even though he has just as much energy and comedy in the scenes he's in.

I liked your opinion on princesse Aurora expert one thing. I hear almost everyone saying she only get 18 minutes of screen time and 18 lines and isn't even the main character at all. I rewatched the film and found how wrong those saying are. She actually gets 30 minutes of screen time, if you include the scenes where she sleeps, which I am because without it, the film wouldn't deserve its title. Also, the number of lines people say she gets if well of. She actually gets 52 lines which almost three time more than people say. The good ferries really only get 3 or 4 minutes more of screen time which I don't think is enough to consider them main characters over Aurora.

My favorite sidekicks are Mr. Smee and Flotsam & Jetsam. Two very opposite ends of the moral scale lol. I was actually surprised at how far up on the list they are; you went so long without mentioning them I was almost afraid you forgot about them lol. I'm very proud of Ursula's little poopsies that they're #2.

Jasmine Pocahontas and mulan were so important because they were the only minority princesses while I was growing I remember other kids of color also looking up and loving them.

Respect to Ray.. RIP.. I respect his placement as No. 1. My personal favourite is Genie of course.. He's my number one.. But Ray too is a valid candidate.. Personally i would rank *Timothy higher.. Almost in Top 10.. Considering how he stood up for Dumbo.. Just that scene when all the other elephants turn their back on poor Dumbo.. He gives them a piece of his mind they won't forget in a hurry.. "You are all picking on that little guy, why don't u pick on me.". Taking dumbo to see his mother, motivating Dumbo to beleive in himself.. He's on par with Jiminy Cricket... Jiminy Cricket i agree should be in top 5.. Also Rafiki was not in the list.. He's an extremely important character.. He guides Simba.. And he kicks the hyenas butts in the battle... ( lol). Same regarding Maximus in Tangled.. He's also a very prominent character in the movie.. The Snuggly Duckling Thugs? Not being critical mind u.. I know it's very hard ranking this lot of characters.. And u have done a fabulous job.👍.. Just mentioning few i think would hv been worth mentioning.. Gopher? Seargent Tibbs in 101 Dalmatians? Clopin in Hunchback of Notredame? If we include Little John, i think Lady Cluck is also a valid cannidate.. I mean this lady kicks butt of the soldiers and Sheriff alike.. A fierce protector and loyal friend to Maid Marian.. Same goes to Archimedes in Sword in the stone.. A bit of grouchy on the outside with a heart of gold in the inside. .. On the other hand.. U hv ranked so many of my own fav characters high.. Genie even though is 1 in my choices is high in urs too🏆.. No offence i too respect and love Ray.. Ray would be in my top 5 too.. 👍.. And I too ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Dopey and Grumpy.. Also happy u gave Eeyore his due respect..👍 . I too love Mrs. Potts and all the other staff members who are kind to Belle.. Also ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ BAYMAX.. Mushu is a good supporting character and extremely crucial in the role he plays in guiding Mulan.. However he is not my most fav as he can be deceptive at times.. BTW i too ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Jock and Trusty.. U have given Trusty the respect he deserves.. 👍I mean, he's the one who saves Tramp in the end.. I also 200% agree on giving Charlotte La Bough her placement in the list.. She helps Tiana out, without a moment of hesitation.. And kisses Naveen sacrificing her own happiness.. Yes.. She deserves appreciation 👍♥️♥️♥️.. Also love the appreciation u gave to the Magic Carpet ♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍.. I think he's a real loyal ally.. And a true friend to Aladdin.. Olaf - I still love and respect him.. I mean he lights a fire to help warm up Anna when she's Frozen.. And such a nice warm hearted guy.. He was a bit off in the second movie though.. But it's NOT his fault.. Olaf is a loyal friend.. What about the Disney animated series villains on television, Like Shego, even though she is technically not a sidekick for villains, she still is useful, deadly, lethal and worthy for a mention… Even if she is too Dangerous to think about, she is still worth mentioning. Say what you want about her status as a villainous sidekick for hire or even competent on her own, but never forget that one name, are we clear?

I'm so happy that maleficent is number one. I love sleeping beauty so much it's my number one favorite Disney movie of all time. Not mention not a lot of people put her as number one on their villain lists mostly people put follo or scar. So yay! Also really good video I love Disney villains..and is one of those people who wish they would come back...
