This is EXACTLY how it plays out for some people, I have an eating disorder and this is how those shitty people treated me and the other girls and boys.

It's frustrating how inaccurate this is. Facilities arent these nice homey places. They are often the oldest parts of hospital. Looking like a russian state prison. There wont definitely be a pool. And running of? Security would have come drag you. And those force feeding tubes would have been used. Its never cozy around the table. And wherever those girls came walking from. Your not allowed to walk, or chose your own beverage. This makes it looks like it all cozy and fun, and as if that would make eating easy. People lose everything over a ed

ok so i might be stupid but whats the tube thing in their noses...

Honestly, I felt like their were a lot of inaccuracies and exaggerations. For instance, that much talking and energy around the dinner table? Most people tend to shut down at meals... And also, while some people do need feeding tubes, it's not actually as common as it is made out to be. This whole video unintentionally romanticizes eating disorders and that's not right.

As someone with anxiety, Sarah, the loud girl, most likely has a severe anxiety disorder as well. Sometimes, people with severe anxiety shout A LOT. It's a form of a coping mechanism. I do it sometimes, but I have a friend like the girl in the video, she even takes meds for her anxiety disorder. Not all anxious people are quiet ❤

I started to cry

I was going to have a dental operation yesterday and the doctor told me to "come with a full stomach." I woke up in the morning, made preparations, and didn't eat anything. My mother noticed this and took me to a place for eat something before going to the dentist. I didn't want to order anything and I was trying to order the least caloric food, but it was a not type of place so I couldn't order something with low calories. I didn't want to eat after taking the order, my mother forced me again and when i took a bite i started crying. I was trying not to let anyone know but it was very obvious that I was crying. I could only take 2 bites and left it. I'm not someone who has panic attacks but I had a hard time holding myself back yesterday. When the dentist asked me "Are you full?" I had a hard time not crying and said "Yes, I'm full." with a smiling face. I think I will never forget this scene in my life.

At least they used real thin or big girls not these actors who look fine body wise.. nobody believes an ana girl whos 10st, like nobody believs a big girl also has an eating disorder. There is nothing worse than being made to eat poison

I lived this exact experience when I was 17 (turned 18 in the clinic) it’s bizarre the resemblance to the clinic it was a lot more discipline towards the girl refusing to eat (feeding tube immediately) but pretty accurate. I am 29 now - several relapses after my first intervention.. sick since 13.. I’m definitely in a relapse right now.. watching videos in yt used to be so bad to my health… yt used to be so filled with raw videos of ed.. I’m happy they are more censored now. Sending love to anyone going through this❤

I’ve been inpatient for an eating disorder clinic, and thankfully, it was not as chaotic as this group. I’d shut down from all the overwhelming stimuli 🤯 Makeup is way overdone as well… Dialogue is great, at the end
