Sycamore Removal
มุมมอง 1554 ปีที่แล้ว
I have dreamed of doing a super tall for Ohio sycamore tree. Textbook tie-in, textbook rigging-points and rigging big pieces. I may have been to excited and got a little complacent. I had a couple mistakes in this tree. I had an absolute blast though. Enjoy

The final two trees we took down. I was going to use a crane on these trees but decided to just get them done climbing.

There is a total of 8 trees on this job. First day I wanted to get the easy ones out of the way.
Taking Down a Storm Damaged Oak Tree
มุมมอง 1374 ปีที่แล้ว
Big storm came through Cleveland Ohio. Montgomery tree service and myself went to give Highpoint tree service a hand with it.
Gave up on the mats. Cool toy but just shows how lazy you are. You got a machine to do all the work but to lazy to Mat the way in and out. Good luck in your business endeavors
i love the truck but wrong peice of equipment for that job or get more mat destroyed the yard not good, crane in driveway out to street to grapple truck, that doesent fly with me.
That’s some good cutting and some good firewood!
What is the load limit of that grappler?
I want one so bad but how hard is it to pay for? That’s a lot of money
V cut 😁😁👍
Who sings the songs in video? Great video
Badass video! Awesome equipment
Better use stump killer.
Great video. Thanks!
Love my zig zag 👊
Would have been interesting to hear some commentary about the job and gear and folks doing it instead of the dreadful blaring music.
Why don't you cut with the grapple saw?
The head doesn't appear to be a fixed rotator, so even if the crane is capable of carrying the mass, the setup won't allow for it..
There are other makes that will use a fixed rotator grapple for total control and no-one is anywhere near the cut zone.
More like it would have been 3-4 cuts per limb with grapple saw, instead of being able to take entire limb in one cut from climber.
whats the reach on that
Looks like plenty of room to top and flop them
Glad to see im not the only one who blocks a street when people can drive around and its better for everyone.
God teamwork
When you can safely work in a base ball cap... Man, jelly.
Brandon Karhu hardhats are for losers
Nice work love the crane
What model knuckle boom are u using there ?
Palfinger PK88002 built by Palfinger USA, LLC. Web site ... www.treemek.com

Sweet video, these things are amazingly quick. Love the Korn also👍👍
That was awesome , and great spar cutting by the climber using the snap cut.
Awesome video, Really enjoyed watching it.

Optimus Prime in chainsaw mode
keep filming bro!!! this is good shit
how come you didnt just use the saw on the grapple? just curious. really thinking about getting one of these but i need to know more about operating one
Masonaterx when we are in top of the tree with the crane we are good for about 18,000 pounds. The job goes really fast when we take big picks.
@@kn5752 how much can you pic with the grapple saw on there, 18k is a good pic I'm sure it goes down a bit with the saw
