The "Rapture" appears to be the Return of Jesus Christ. Jesus said he did not ask His Father to take the disciples doing Jesus' era or future disciples off the earth but to protect them from evil. Christians that believe they will be taken off the earth before the Anti Christ's reign may lose faith in Jesus Christ. Scripture seems to indicate the 2nd Return of Jesus is after the reign of the Anti Christ.

If the rapture is secret then maybe it already happened and we would not know. I saw something the other day that someone is convinced that the tribulation actually began on 2 October 2024 but I think someone else thought it started on 9 October 2024.

Matthew 24:29 tells us that the Rapture happens after the Tribulation (Matthew 24:31). God's Wrath happens afterwards. Christians-to-be-Saints fall during this Tribulation Daniel 11:32-33, Revelation 12:17, Matthew 24:15-28. Some Christians will make it through the Tribulation (just like Christians made it through the Roman persecutions.) THEY are the ones who will be Raptured.

Christ does not come for his Church. Christ said the Church must remain on earth and suffer great trials and tribulations before it can be perfected. Nowhere in the Bible does it say there will be a 7 year tribulation. NOWHERE! However the Bible does say in Acts 4:22, "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God." God has NEVER saved his people from tribulation. God saves us THROUGH tribulation, not from it. God protected and saved the Jews "through" the last 7 of the 10 plagues that fell on Egypt. God saved Noah, his family and the animals "through" the tribulation of the flood. God saved Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego "through" the fiery furnace of King Nebuchadnezzar. God saved Daniel "through" the lions den and not from it. God will save and protect his elect "through" the 7 last plagues just like he did with the Jews when they were captives in Egypt. The 7 years of tribulation is a FALSE prophecy that isn't anywhere in the Bible and wasn't preached until the 1800's. This false prophecy comes from a false teaching of the 70 weeks time prophecy in Daniel 9. ALL time prophecies in Daniel run "continuously" from start to end. The false teaching of the 7 years of tribulation takes the last 7 years of this time prophecy and moves it to some undefined time in the future. THIS MAKES NO SENSE! All time prophecies are continuous, which is meant to give us guidance of what is to come, not give us uncertainty. All time prophecies in the Book of Daniel have already been completed. The 70 weeks time prophecy started in 457 BC with the decree by Artaxerxes to rebuild Jerusalem. The first 69 weeks ended in 27 AD when Jesus was "anointed" with the Holy Spirit. The last week (70th week) was "cutoff" midway (first 3.5 yrs) in 31 AD when Jesus was crucified and concluded (last 3.5 yrs) when Stephen was stoned and the Gospel was then preached to the Gentiles by Paul. It's amazing, even Christians are not aware of the nature of the apocalypse. Many think it'll be 'business as usual' while the world self destructs to the point that Jesus says, "If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short." It's my main reason for believing Christ's second advent will be in two parts. I really wish someone could explain to me how on earth is anyone going to be working, having weddings and just living their lives during and especially towards the end of the 7 years of tribulation? there’s no way they are going to be doing that. If you’re in the tribulation the second coming of Jesus is not going to take you by surprise like a thief in the night. According to the Bible Jesus returns ....... at midnight when the bridesmaids were completely unaware (Matthew 25:1-13), when folks were busy tilling fields (Matthew 24:40), others across the world peacefully asleep at night (Luke 17:34), when a cruel boss is treating his employees badly, thinking the MD isn't due for a visit (Matthew 24:48-51), while whorehouses were doing normal business, like normal buying, selling, planting and building (like Sodom; Luke 17:28-29), just at a time of normal marrying (Matthew 24:38), the time when folk were ignoring preachers telling them destruction is near unless they repent and turn to God (just like old Noah Matthew 24:37-39; Luke 2 Peter 2:5; Hebrews 11:7 and see 1 Peter 3:19-20). Hmm, sounds like nowadays, eh? Normal life really. Same ole; same ole... So. Then the light dawned. That's why the return of the Lord is two fold. Jesus comes first for His saints during normal everyday life (John 14:3). Then secondly after all the wormwood etc He returns as reigning King at the height of WW3. (Rev 19). After years of confusion over these distinctly different descriptions of Christ's return I saw how it all fitted together. I can't help but think this video is AI gibberish. Darby being the first to popularize the rapture , is simply a lie . You can find rapture teaching by the early church fathers in the 100s AD . Such as Irenaeus . the keepers of the dead sea scrolls were pre trib, basically all early church was. But truly, the Bibe is enough.

Hard to imagine how the rapture and second coming have been convoluted into the same event. The rapture is always presentd as a sudden departure while the second coming of Christ to the earth is shown as something that takes time, that the world mourns and gathers its armies together to try to stop, this is the battle of Armageddon. As for me, I already believe on Christ entirely and alone for my salvation. Not sure why it would be necessary for me to go through the tribulation since the purpose of the tribulation is to bring that last fruits of the harvest to faith in Christ. And yes to judge the unbelieving world as well.

I firmly held the belief that the two witnesses will be caught up and the rest of us will be caught up in the rapture when Jesus says come up and he doesn't call them by name that means all in the graves will be caught up for raptured!! The first day must witness for a 1260 days!!
