I think these bikes got overlooked because they're not V-twins. I believe that they probably get better performance than the V-twins around the same displacement. Most cruiser riders want the look & the sound of the V's though.

I wonder how this compares to the old KZ 440 LTD, in the 80’s. I had a 1975 KZ400 and an 1980 KZ440 Ltd that I rode-multi state when I was younger.

Visited the site 2 years ago and the actual location is NOT where any monument is but behind a house off the main road about 1/2 mile west across a sloping corn field close to the river on an overgrown clearing surrounded by trees and “ junk” from the private owners property…. barely visible from an adjoining neighbors well kept back yard you can barely see the old narrow stone marker about 200 feet away…. Did a lot of research to find the actual spot… Alan Eckert’s excellent book “ Wilderness War” was a big help… be careful…. the farmer who owns the land is real creepy and unfriendly

That was quite the mess! I remember we had quite the trouble reaching out warehouse (located on Adams street, I work by the viaduct on Washington st.) because of all the equipment! Fascinating that within 24 hrs trains were running again!

I bought one new in 2007 have over 40000 miles on it and it runs great. It is a perfect motorcycle for me .I'm 5ft 9 in and weigh 185. The bike fits like a glove. Kawasaki let's the good times roll
