Any tips on how to sustain mana?
this is mainly mana potions and mana per kill unfortunately. there's a relic called mana dice i think that is also a chance to return some mana on cast

Hello, why are you not maxing Quickslash or shadow step to up Empire slash ?
the bonuses are quite small compared to maxing 3 usable skills and a proc, however if you just want to use 1 button for gameplay with empire slash then yes you can max out it's synergies for more damage

i havent made anything concrete for item progression but in general you want to focus on all skills, arcane% and magic% damage, and - enemy resist%. runewords are a cheap alternative to heroics/angelics
how is the shadow step bossing??
shadow step is not a boss killer because the single target damage is very low

Hello, this looks cool, and i love this Flicker Strike gameplay, but since im not a giga chad tryharder, how is early / mid game (before getting heroic items), this throwing build will be ? Is it comfortable, or super hard until first heroics ? Ty for this good showcase
for leveling you can mess around with additive damage types, but eventually you'll want to look out for things like enhanced damage, crit chance/damage, deadly blow, attack speed, and a little bit of crushing blow. strength is always good and the most important thing to focus on is keeping your main weapon damage up-to-date. early game runewords include malice and aurora's might for 3 socket weapons, and skysong and ravager for 4 socket weapons. valkyrie runeword in an S-tier short war bow is very good mid game for shuriken throw. other good early runewords include fortress armor, flesh ripper helmet, and quickstep boots. you might be lacking health and resists for a bit which is where charms come in clutch until you can start getting heroics
a few things I forgot to mention: 1. A chest augment is not required for either of these builds, but fan of knives augment will give a small benefit. 2. Azazel's Despair naturally drops with only +all skills and 1 socket, you must insert Anubis' Soulgem to get the additional stats shown here 3. equipped potions are Elixir of Death, Protein Shake, Bottle of Sake, and Sung Lee's Flask of Carnage

into strength for damage, you can put some into vitality if you want a little more health too
How do you get the soul forged ring?
You do the quest chain in act 4 with orre. You unlock the questline by finding mysterious key first and then you can do one quest at him once a day :)

Where you find the soulforged ring ?
its a quest line starting with "Mysterious Key" drop from any boss in any hell difficulty and you take it into act 4 town to the top right from waypoint there's a hidden door you will be able to open. the first 6 quests all involve you killing an act boss but they're time-gated as a daily quest so this will take you at least 1 week to complete

it is a jewelcrafting recipe you make in the cube using 1 jade powder, 5 satan nails, 3 inferno stones, 2 storm opals, and 1 enchanted sigil - also you can see this and other recipes when you press esc -> click the book icon above resume -> jewelcrafting tab at the top
some notes to add: using moonstone gems in mika's for attack speed, Xo rune into soulforged ring which gets 50% bonus for 37% and doubled by rakhul ring -> this caps your deadly blow with legionnaire/spine trophy. we dont need target defense ignore because 11k+ attack rating is enough to get 80%+ hit chance against lvl 690 monsters, compared to replacing 1 moonstone with an eth rune which is .44 less attack speed for 85% hit chance

hey, i don't know if you keep responding questions on this video, but how all talents roll do compared to crit rate roll? for some reason is WAY easier finding good all talents roll itens then is to find crit roll itens

setup is pretty much the same for Hc, just using steadfast boots for cc immunity and using helmon + tramal jewels. i personally went for 400k hp and 250k red before i filled the rest of sockets with damage jewels

yes this gear is possible offline through normal gameplay, however since you're the only source it will take a while to complete
is shadow carver better than grimbone scythe? i just got shadow carver 91% quality but its a lot worse then my grimbone scythe 80% quality
if you dont have a lot of crit in your current setup then grimbone might be SLIGHTLY higher in damage, otherwise i think you might've forgotten to upgrade your carver :P

yeah ill make an updated vid sometime within the next day, in general its very similar to this build but i put more focus on damage items this time around so best in slot is a little different

how does Gut's bfs,kogarasumaru and masamune set compare to this weapon?
all of these weapons will have similar damage to carver, however they lack the survivability. carver having +armor, +all stats, and +%damage reduction puts it far ahead in terms of endgame viability. with that being said you can still use other weapons for general hell 5 farming, although if you dont have an absence i would recommend just using nobunaga's weapon anyways for set bonus
are there any other viable ways to build this character? i just pulled muramasa and was wondering if running muramasa and masamune is a viable weapon too, i have been trying to work towards this build but without absence it feels all my damage is purely from carver, and was wondering whether or not there is a better way to capitalize on the samurai, otherwise he feels quite weak compared to alot of the other characters
as far as cost-effective builds go, probably not. last season's build was auto attacks using atonement + kallik's fury and a lot of defensive items, but that has really fallen off with the nerfs to attack speed. it will probably do okay with chaos towers but thats about the extent of its viability. if you're not bothered with using glitched setups, you can get any melee weapon that doesnt have a gold-text ability (very important) and put lucifer's wrath on it, then stack specifically poison damage. i have not bothered to test mana-stacking because its survivability via mana shield has never been consistent
