If it makes you feel better, in the vs circles I’m in after this episode got announced everyone was clowning on the idea of it being Heroes vs Archie cause nobody thought Silver got anything useful form the comics, whereas Trunks got so many upgrades in Heroes. It was only when blogs came out detailing how busted Archie Silver was that people realized Trunks was cooked lol

They got a lot of things wrong about this fight, but sadly the winner wasn't one of them.

Yeah, Archie Sonic always got kind of crazy. You can tell that was the theme for this match up. Instead of just taking Regular Trunks and Regular Silver, they took the weirdest, most powerful version s of them both. I'm sorry you didn't get the result you wanted, but I think it's cool that you were a good sport about it and didn't get angry or anything. DBZ has its share of wins. You saw Broly body the Hulk already. They also did an episode where Vegeta vaporizes Shadow. Dragon Ball is full of powerful characters, but nobody wants to see a fight where the winner is obvious and just dogwalks the loser from the start. People like seeing a good, tough fight, and unfortunately that means most people are gonna lose about half of them. That's actually Dragon Ball's record on the show right now, btw. They've got 7 Ws and 7 Ls. Hope you don't give up on them and watch more sometime.

Archie comics get stupid powerful. Like, they redefine the phrase "stupid powerful." The only ones capable of really competing with them are DC characters.

I don't think anyone else is going to tell you, this match was essentially rigged. Death is a rather questionable topic with Reverse-Flash. You got to consider some of the weirder time effects like temporary being incapable of death, which has happened before. You could erase him in time but somehow he comes back like nothing happens. We aren't even considering the Negative Speed Force itself. Which rivals the Speed Force with a man essentially acting as a Negative Speed Force generator with virtually every movement. He wasn't going to run out of energy any time soon man. He even had the ridiculous option to remove him from time itself. But considering he would need to know when & where information Goku Black never revealing. Plus that ring, he couldn't realize on such a move. People simply doesn't realize speedsters in DC are surprisingly powerful beings. Some of them even has access to the most powerful punch there is, Infinite Mass Punch. Not only that, Reverse-Flash has a lot more experience with time possibilities than his opponent. Who never fully understood the power he had. Also it should be incredibly obvious, Reverse-Flash is a lot smarter too. Even if I confess I never liked Goku Black. Reverse-Flash has earned my respect for a great villain. This show has some terrible things to Barry Allen, The Flash. Reverse-Flash rivals that guy who can do the impossible on a daily basis. It also obvious as soon as he had the opportunity to end things, he was going straight for it like shown in the fight. Reverse-Flash could easily made time duplicates of himself. Reverse-Flash also had a lot scarier options to end one's life in comparison too. There's virtually no real way Goku Black was going to win this fight. Even if some of what I mentioned wasn't there, he simply couldn't guarantee killing him either.

Phoenix is labelled by Marvel as one of the most powerful beings while Raven is not. This statement is what makes people blind from looking at Raven's arsenal. She may be not a cosmic god but she was able to beat cosmic god tiers. She once rewrote reality and even rewrote Darkseid's personality. Able to absorb other people's powers and resisting reality erasure, shattering the bounds of reality. It's simple how he got the ring. The Reverse Flash can keep up with Barry, who beat himself in a race. To do that, you have to be so fast that you're no longer bound by linear time. No one in Dragon Ball is anywhere close to being that fast, so as far as Reverse Flash is concerned all he has to do is walk up to what might as well be a statue, take the ring off, and kill Black any number of ways before he even has time to comprehend anything. This fight isn't even close to being fair.

Reverse Flash can phase through objects as such what ever he wants to get off someone’s body he can make that object phase with him

It's a matter of inevitability that Reverse Flash would destroy Blacks time ring. Because it's impossible for them to kill each other they would do so over and over through time, they would continue fighting until they started testing out different ways to do so. Because Thawn is both faster and smarter as a super genius that can think in super speed, and because Black's invincibility comes from a ring that CAN be taken away from him, unlike Thawn's which is just part of his body, eventually he would try it. Plus Thawn comes from a universe with things like Green Lantern rings, destroying the time ring would probably be one of the first things he'd try if he started experimenting

To wonder why Reverse-Flash was able to remove the Time Ring from Goku Black is because speedsters in Marvel and DC, and comics in general, all have perks that allows them to see things far more slowly and as well being able to sense things like energy, sound, etc. Considering the fact that the Time Rings emits energy and literally glows every time it’s used, Reverse-Flash can feel and sense disturbances in the fight, and given that Thawne is a genius in time travelling, he would be able to deduce Goku Black’s powers. Think about it, Black never stood a chance against Thawne, cause even if Black could kill Thawne given that Black is physically stronger, Reverse-Flash can’t exactly die ‘die’ as beings in DC like Doctor Manhattan, a being comparable if not more powerful than Zeno, tried to erase Thawne from existence but it didn’t work. Killing Reverse-Flash in the past, present, future, and even timelines is something most DC characters struggled to do, and since Black has never shown to be as smart as Barry Allen (The Flash), the one person who actually defeated Thawne by resetting his timeline, Black is pretty much done for from the get-go.
