Hello dear i was hired in amazon as a seasonal associate for 3 months when i was on my study break i worked full time but every time they extend the contract amd convert me from full time to part time and now i have completed 8 months (4months full time and 4 part time)and they layoff me due to end of contract I jave completed 1200 hours could i eligible for ei benefits
Hello, yes you can apply for EI as long as you were working in insurable employment. For part time, your EI amount will reduce as they will calculate your earning average of both full time and part time. Hope you got all your answers.😊

How much time ei takes to approve?
It takes from 7- 28 days. If they have all the information and do not have anything missing, EI will be approved within a short period. 😊
