ADVANCEMENTS IN SEISMIC DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS THROUGH MACHINE LEARNING

The advancement of seismic data gathering has been driven by the necessity for seismic stations to continuously capture vast amounts of high-frequency signals. Both seismic and non-seismic data are frequently included in regularly recorded signals. The present investigation involves the conversion of SEED data into CSV format and the extraction of features from the seismic signal dataset. These qualities are important, enduring, and trustworthy. By using dimensionality reduction techniques, the feature vectors' temporal and spatial efficiency is increased. The research demonstrates that while machine learning models do a good job of fitting data, the DNN and LSTM + DNN models work best together. Moreover, a hybrid dataset derived from several sensors is used to illustrate the real-time implementation of this model, resulting in a decrease in false alarm rates. The Central University of Karnataka and the BSVK and CUKG seismic stations, which are near Basavakalyan, Karnataka, provided the seismic data used in the study.
