-Running this, and all it does is post a buy request for a Lex Prime Set (1 platinum), and clear out all of my other buy/sell contracts.- Never mind. It mostly works. When I try to save the settings (platinum caps, deviations, etc) from the page, the settings file nulls-out. I have to edit the settings file in notepad. But the parameters in general aren't very clear. The log is just also suggesting that my "current (possibly hidden) listings are good" and I should make them public. I have no listings of that price, current or otherwise, hidden or otherwise. Also, when I terminate it with CTRL+C, it pukes its guts up. Generally, using this thing feels like a sink-or-swim situation where some of the buttons are loose and the interface is esoteric to anyone who hasn't ate-slept-breathed this thing for three weeks.

…so I basically look at some trash frame I want, find how much p it costs then sell out my entire inventory of prime junk until I can afford it, since usually I’m going after random prime frames anyway.

My question is why would people to sell to the people listing to buy cheap when they could just list a sell of their own for the higher price? I myself had never even clicked on the WTB section of WF.M. Faster turn of profit, but you lose out on the value of the spread so I’m not understanding why people would take that deal. I guess the same reason I skip 3 day build times every now and then lol

I fear this is something I'll never get into in WF lol. Even in FFXIV i just undercut by 1 on the market board with whatever rubbish I have in my inventory and call it a day and that's a much easier system to get into cuz it's all in game. I simply don't have the patience to wait for someone to message me and then manually give them a thing for plat lol.

Meanwhile I'm happy if I manage to sell a requiem mod for 14 plat so I can get some item slots I'm MR 20...

So, I'm a new player. I love doing mindless horde farming. I love seeing big colorful numbers all over my screen. But I cannot overstate how hyped I am that I can also go full trade analyst and make my own trade empire in the same game that I can also go brain-off mode. Seeing big numbers on my screen while using space magic AND pretending to be a big brain person in the same game is a superb combination.

If you had the screen watcher app looking at a twitch stream (or something similar) instead of your game directly, wouldn't that help to not get you banned? Since it's just letting you know the prices for things and when people message you, you could potentially run that side on a different computer so you won't be banned. Or is it still bannable?

I see he actually went out of his way to automate it. There are a few points missing for even greater profits, but this is good enough for most people
