I turned a regular sling-stud attached bipod into an arca rail bipod for my new rifles. I already had the bipod, and the arca attachment was $13.60 on amazon. With a 1/4-20 bolt and a washer, you can make one too. Update - you may want to turn the arca adapter so the adjustment can be made with the left hand. I rigged a cheap scope camera mount to my Savage MK ii to see how it would work. It shoots fine, but using the system is a little odd because I have to lay back on the rifle.

I developed drop data for my Savage MK ii fv-sr, using a Primary Arms 4-14x44 scope and CCI standard Velocity ammunition. It was 25 degrees F with a slight breeze. Here is the drop data if you have a similar setup 50 yrd - 0, 75 yrd - 0.9 mil, 100 yrd - 2.5 mil, 125 yrd - 3.7 mil, 150 yrd - 5.2 mil, 175 yrd - 6.7 mil, 200 yrd - 9.2 mil

Just bought a used Savage MK ii FV-SR in a Boyd's Tacticool stock, and a Primary Arms 4-14x44 acss scope. I test 3 different brands of ammo to see with give the best groups. CCI Standard Velocity, Norma Match, and Wolf Match Target.

Did this yesterday, looks good, but I can't get it to stay in place. The bipod rotates under the mounting plate when pressure is applied. Did you have this issue or did I possibly not do something right?
