It’s the white plastic housing with the black wire. Twist left to remove, twist right to tighten, but you have to align the grooves just right. Takes a little patience. Super easy.

How to find if ignition coils should also be replaced when replacing plugs. Or just do both together?

I have a 2015 waiting for it's second alternator exchange, I bought this van new from a dealer and this is the only repair that I have had to do on her, twice now, the first time we got a garage to do it. If you have a v6 version the bracket is the other way so two bolts are on the bottom with one right behind the inner cv joint. Once you separated the bearing from the bracket there was virtually no rust there. When I got mine out (had to cut a section of the bracket out to get the bearing out) there was rust on the whole surface of the bracket and the bearing, not horrible but enough it wouldn't budge no matter what I tried. So when someone has to do this shaft on a toyota (several models/years have the same set up) buy the bracket just in case you need it. Rockauto has it pretty cheap but better to have it, not need it and return it then to need it and be without a ride for several days.

You did it the hard way, just simply remove the bottom 14 mm and top 14 mm bolts. The pump and bracket come out as an assembly. The bracket stays on the pump when removing and installing.

Do you need to bleed any air from it after replacing? How do you do that if so? Im gonna try repairing mine on my 2015 Nissan Altima
