Saved a lot of cheese song this myself. Car was hesitating, engine light on, svc/trc off was on. Dealer quoted me around $260...got the part from AutoZone for about $70

It would have been most helpful if you showed from beginning to end
Thank you for sharing your experience, it's been very helpful
Just called auto zone its 43.99
Thanks for the location. FYI MAP= Manifold Absolute Pressure
Lol I almost made the same comment 😅😅
Rockauto just ordered ac delco for $25 bucks with shipping check them out
Any help with code po171 lean
So replacing the MAP sensor didn't help the reduced engine message, but replacing the fuel injector did help the problem? I having similar problem with my 12 Malibu. I do also have some obd codes with an engine light.
it didn't help mine. some people had reported it did. my code went away after I did the injectors
Is your malibu sending codes for ignition? I know mine was telling me Cylinder 1 was misfiring. I changed out spark plug, but I'm gonna replace coils, and plugs for all 4. Mass Airflow sensor is also on my list.
@@EvaderKMP I'm having the same problem
Part no. Map sensor?
@@nasrillukty just google mass airflow sensor for Malibu, your year model and engine size, and you'll get the part number.
You got rip off if you bought it for $70. Cuz I'm a mechanic and ik 100% they do not coast that any where. Even at dealership.
They do at autozone but ordered mine for 20 on amazon
Who the hell does this help you didn’t do sht
Dude you talk to much shit Fix it and go back to selling your drugs already
part is 30 bucks at any gm dealer.
Rockauto.com has them for cheaper. Just an fyi
I got mine there for like 10 bucks lol
This was very helpful Thank you so much for the video been looking all over
manifold absolute pressure sensor....
Michael Ramm yep... you're right.
Michael Ramm did that fix the shaking and the reduced power and all that?
Manuel Guevara nope!! replacing the injectors did. now I'll try and tackle the exhaust manifold...I'm getting fumes in the inside, and it seems they're notorious for getting cracks in them
lol I came here for the MAP info but I can agree with you, I think my exhaust manifold has a crack somewhere too as I think I can both hear it on startup and smell a bit of an exhaust odor near the front of the car. Nothing in the cab yet thank goodness.
