That storm was very scary!! It knocked out around 220,000 OPPD customers without power. It was July 31st not July 30th.

I was in that storm and I was scared because there was a tornado in Northern Nebraska. As soon as stuff started to get bad, my life was like adios. We lost WiFi for days.

Heavy rain, hard to see. So, of course, people drive like the a-holes they are. People never learn.

Looks a lot worse than the NO Dodge fire. Both jumped the river, I heard. The NO Dodge fire is still burning despite all the rain. Those hot coals are really really established. I watched the fire jump from fields to groves of trees onto to the next fields on Thursday. It was hard to imagine how far the fire had spread up river from the original fire. Now that the wind has shifted out of the north, they’ll need to watch that the fire doesn’t get too close to 680 by the Mormam Bridge on the Iowa side.
