Not sure if you’ll love the genre (romance) but I highly recommend that you read “This Summer Will Be Different” by Carley Fortune. It takes place in PEI (and Toronto). Lots of great Canadian and Anne references. I think you’ll like it.

I truly always enjoy any of your videos. I always get a huge smile on my face when I see you pop up on my sub feed. Your kitty looks so much like our little Ezekiel and I loved to hear his purr. Oh goodness do I also HATE being overweight. Yet I LOVE food so much and it feels overwhelming to change my lifestyle. Today I quit IG cold turkey and I’m hoping it will help my mental health and perhaps free up time to live more intentionally…which may trickle down to making better choices for myself. Same….i went on a youtube meet up with a gal who does have ADHD and as we spoke she would say after I would tell her a way I think or do things she would then say…”that’s an ADHD trait” she told me that multiple times during our visit and also recommended some podcasts that may help. I said the same thing, it also it feels like a “trend” which sounds so silly to say because at the same time it really resonated with and made me feel better about how I think and also the depression I deal with. Some of my favorite moments in your video are when you share light and shadows and lovely things with music in the background. I know my comments are always so long. I can’t seem to help myself😳 thanks for understanding.

We were married at The Beverly Hills Hotel in 2002! Love seeing that. Also, I have had high numbers too. The Cholesterol Myth by Dr. Sinatra was recommended to me by a natural doctor. After reading that I had more tests they recommend and have started some new supplements. It's absolutely worth a read. You are totally me in so many ways. That blue is my favorite color. ADHD has it's gifts/superpowers - good luck figuring that out and great seeing you post.

I’ve been wanting to wallpaper a wall. All the paper I find is so expensive, so I have not pulled the trigger. I’m only looking on spoonflower. Where do you get yours? I’m loving all the new colors! I paint so many things black 😂 my bathrooms black, my house is black and I want to paint my stair rails black and people crack up because they see me as a person as a rainbow. That's super helpful for my easily distracted ADHD brain. I think you asked abt what our best thrift store find was? I'd always wanted black windsor chairs but was making do with our ten year old Ikea whatevers since we're a one income family, too. One day, I walked into our Goodwill and saw a set of eight Ethan Allen black Gilbert Windsor chairs, including the two end ones with the arms. Fifteen dollars a piece. I kid you not. I never purchased anything so quickly in my life! The arm chairs cost over $500 new, on sale....It was the greatest find of my life.

I had never heard of Blue Castle so that is definitely one I will grab for my (summer) holiday read. I too have not really read much Austen, but I absolutely adore her! I've seen all the movies and TV adaptations and listened to Jennifer Ehle's reading of Pride and Prejudice during covid. If you did start reading them, I would love to read along with you....an online book club! Because seriously, I feel very uncultured having only watched the films.... eeekkk. I love looking forward to your vlogs but completely understand not wanting to keep up that schedule. I would be exactly the same xx
