5 years have passed, and legend says he is still playing Nexus of fate.

Personally I found this one rediculously hard and not really that fun as a result. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have several excellent puzzle solvers doing it together, it's way too hard otherwise.

Can you please help us? Like you say, this is pretty easy to play, but there was one part we just didn’t get fully. It says in the Rules on your turn that you must play at least one Card - that bit’s fine, but then it also says that you are able to play more than one Card - but which Cards are these? I ask, as there are of course the Cards that have the lightning bolts on them which means you have to play an extra Card - but if you can play extra Cards anyway (without playing a lightning bolt) then what is ‘special’ about the lightning bolt Cards? We didn’t get it, unless there are times that you’re not allowed to play more than one Card - but which ones are these? It doesn’t say or explain any of this in the Rules... I wondered if you could please clarify for us. Very grateful.

Why does everyone skip events on the Act cards? Nobody mentions them. I'm trying to find the timing of them. Are they only able to be used at the start of the act?

Your connection scoring is incorrect. You only score for red arrow connections. You only have 2 in your example, not 3.

The thane is effected by his own ability so he's effectively a 4/4

ferocidon comes out turn 2 in jund dinos and makes the deck go from very strong to over the top. It already outpaces both scapeshift and vampires, with adding another way to eat them effectively. Token decks already were getting hated out by deputy and legions end, mono red was a mostly dead/new player deck and is now potentially viable again although it replaces chainwhirler I guess....not sure what maindeck changes get made with ferocidon to make mono red actually decent again. it's unbanning makes aggressive agro decks a lot more dominant in the format, however. as for modern, well, hogaak would have been a much more fair card if it was 5 colorless and 3 hybrid mana so it would be a lot harder to play turn 2- requiring 3 creatures instead of two. As much as I hate the ban, it was pretty difficult to deal with. Looting has had to go for a long time, but looting decks were what kept tron at bay in the metagame and made it into a more fair deck. It'll be interesting to see what happens in about a month, right now MTGO is a combination of people trying out stoneforge decks (with some success) and regular old decks (tron, infect, urza, etc). It's actually the perfect time to play graveyard strategies in modern because of the bannings- blue dredge lists (running tome scour or hedron crab) have been 5-0ing a decent number of modern leagues due to the fact that everyone has put aside their grafdiggers cages and leylines in favor of surgicals, which don't really hurt dredge that much.

You may want to consider sitting down so you won't be tempted to scan left to right. I think your speaking voice is nice, and you have great hand gestures. Sometimes those hand gestures are out of frame. The top of the frame is pretty bland anyway, you may just want to drop the frame, and zoom out some - if space allows. Once you relaxed, half way through, you improved as a whole. Keep doing what you're doing.

In regards to painter: Don’t think it’s a huge issue in commander- with all is dust it resets the entire board, and grindstone only allows you to hit one player per grindstone per turn without untap effects. Not the most degenerate commander combos, but definitely an easy one to slide into any deck.

Banning bridge only stops the combo kill with the deck. It can still drop 20+ power on the board turn 2 quite easily with prized amalgam, hogaak, vengevine and a couple cheap creatures/bloodghasts. It does weaken the matchup vs tron, as that’s a deck you typically had to combo kill as ugin is a problem. Vs any matchup where you can actually attack for the win it’s still a very strong deck. That being said decks like elves can actually out power that even faster. I had an elves player drop 40+ power turn 2 against me the other day.

these are NOT meant to be with more than 4 people, there are items that everyone needs to see, and it gets chaotic

I agree the High Artificer is incredibly linear and incredibly pushed. I can imagine seeing decks tutor unwinding clock and vedalkan orrery and then dump ever greater numbers of artifacts on to the board each turn. Not a modern viable strategy but a boring commander game.

Two vids today, a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I'm a casual commander player. I like the London mull over the past versions because it enables me to see how my opponents decks are supposed to play. If I was competitive, I would prefer a partial Paris single mulligan. This is because I would prefer to reward deck building consistent play strategy over one trick combos.

lawsuit is waste of time because they went through ebay to sell there product that's why your getting 20off code, and also since it wasn't a bidded item since it was buy it now doesn't count as a bid. I don't feel if they gave the product to stores to sell would be good idea, because then only selected stores would have it and how do you make it fair to sell the one box the store has for those that want it. I think next time they should have a web site that allows you to win a spot to buy up to two boxes, and then there wouldn't be a problem with over selling. Now for the gift I would have prefer they gave out the Jace and Ugin that came with mythic box since its not apart of the war of spark set over uncut sheet. Lets face it that's the only real reason this item sold out so quick, and that will also lower the cost of those trying to flip the product. Or they could do a box topper pack which comes with one foil rare and one foil mythic, and the box topper would be exclusive box topper made like for example Liliana Dreadhorde General Alter Art foil in English.

If I was involved with this, I would want them to come forward with a long form post about how they are going to avoid this going forward. They could then offer me a simple priority sale within the next year a long with the sheet. At that point, I would accept the full refunded value including taxes and charges.

It’s worth the lawsuit because of the principle of the thing. Wizards started having these issues with SDCC releases. It’s nothing new, and only continued into mythic releases. We keep saying this is the third failure but it’s not. This is an ongoing issue. Sometimes the only way corporations learn is by a bottom line hit. I am a personal collector, and I enjoy having shiny cards. It’s a problem. So for me this was an investment sure, but it’s to play two plainswalkers in my balled out 100% (besides dual lands) Narset Commander deck that has the best or rarest of each art available for each Plainswalker.... for me you can’t replace that experience. Especially given that this has happened to me more than once. In this particular situation I purchased in the first 12k, and they freaked out. Instead of letting it go and reselling tax somehow they canceled on all of us. Then it expired way after the reposting expired. That was the worst yet. Just horrible. Now I did repurchase thankfully and will get my sheet. When they drop down to 150-200 per sheet on the market I’ll buy another and take it to a bindery and spend the 70.00 to have them professionally sized, cut, and have a “factory cut” so I can play them all. Then keep the other as a memento. So is this good enough?? Normally yes this is more than adiquate. Good enough for me? Not personally for what I like to do but I would have swallowed it....... if it was the first time. Now I want to make a point because I’m over it. Yes let my local game shop have them. Let me play a tournament where if I win I get the chance to buy it at retail. Or however..... at least it wouldn’t be this nightmare time after time. I want to hurt their bottom line so this stops.

I don't know what they can do for me at this point. But for starters I will refuse to buy anything direct from them ever, that includes any hasbro product. Next I will just flat out refuse to support all the scalpers on ebay, not just for this product but for any product they try and sell. Finally I am just giving up on ebay period as this is the 3rd time they have botched my orders in their antiquated system they have. Transactions through paypal fail, taxes being deducted days after initial payment went through and my favorite, the over selling issue which happened on two of my orders through their BS buy it now system. Sorry but I am done and may soon just sink my disposable income into other hobbies.

After 15 years of playing magic I’ve never experienced anything like this. hasbro should have known after the 1st mythic Ed. honestly hasbro has lost a longtime player/buyer I’m selling my cards and going to board games and doing everything to not spend anything on wotc or fund hasbro

I'm not going to stay away from the pro-store rant. They are selling a "limited" release directly so they get incredibly inflated margins and can't even keep their act together. They are not paying for distribution, there is no overhead for the typical store. Yet when things go wrong, they stick the customer with all the knock on charges just to give them their money back. I know of no brick and mortar store that would handle a refund in this manner for something that is completely out of the customers hands.
