It has been a great experience and fun to dub this top reggae tunes, and clearly the "last tune" had to be my favorite tune ever 🍀🍀🍀🍀
As you can hear, in this dub the vocals are more present than usual, and I preferred removing other instrumental parts instead, because the lyrics are really important to me in this one.

@ChloroDub greetings and thanks a lot for the feedback😎🔥🍀 With FADR I always separate the drums (kick snare and hats). The quality of the separated drum stems declines drastically in my opinion, but still I really like to have kick, snare and hats on separate channels when I dub😋 For what the processing concerns, for the first couple of episodes I went through a kind of proper mixing session🤣. I never really used compression cause I don't think it's really needed on this kind of material, but I used eq (especially to try to recreate at best the low- and high-end) and other tools that can help in a similar way, like tape machine. But then I stopped and I used the stems directly as downloaded from FADR. This because anyways the overall quality of the stems is not high enough to say "I will use them to do a live dub session on a soundsystem", or generally to use them for any other purpose than this live dubbing videos on TH-cam. It's also true that I like to separate stems to "sample" material for my own productions. In these cases then I process the samples so that they best fit in the mix😎

@aldubone9886 yeah a 12 channel like alpha steppa it's seems to be the Best option. I Will try to setup twice midi mix for making a cheap 16 channels. I Don't know if is work or not. Whatever keep it going your sound is very great, thanks for sharing this with us.
@ it works for sure, the only thing to pay attention to is that the midi cc signals of the 2 controllers don't conflict, but otherwise there should beni problem (I saw jedeh of shieldrum records has that setup, u can check some videos on his youtube channels)

Hi, where did you find the multitrack ?
@@albanlamendin8575 For this "project" I simply sample the tune I want to dub (either from vinyl or I rip it from youtube using virtual input on my audio interface), then I run it into FADR, an online tool that allows to separate stems from a stereo track. If needed I mix a bit the stems, then I dub it 😋. The quality of the stems is not pristine, so I would not use them for other purposes than youtube videos

My setup consist of: - Novation Launchcontrol XL as midi mixer - Midifighter Twister to control mainly parameters of the send FX (e.g. the feedback of the delays, filter after the spring reverb, ...), but also some FX on the individual channels - Native Instruments Maschine Mikro Mk3 that I use as drum pad to play some samples - As sirene I use a VST called Dubby 2.0, and I trigger it with the macbook keyboard Hope this helps 😎🔥🍀🍀

@@2126beatz I simply sample the tune from vinyl or youtube, then I used FADR, a tool to get the stems separated from the full track. Of course the quality of the stems is not the best (there are quite some artifacts in most of the cases), but for the purpose of dubbing and sharing on youtube is good enough (at least in my opinion)😋
