@@BilbsterMedia purest, eh maybe, and a shear challenge, but the oldest style of racing in the usa in cars since it became a thing in earnest would be openwheel racing on fairground tracks, europe they did roadcourses and point to point, and there was that here too, but the biggest way it was done since 1903 were on the big flat horsetracks usually a mile in length, kind of like the silvercrown cars they are basicly openwheel full size cars in the form of a roadster, desigend for mile tracks 100 laps at a time though their are only 3 left that are raceable and usac only runs the two in illinose, we had the indiana state fair but they put down an all weather limestone surface and will no longer allow cars to race on it or even motor cycles though many harness horse tracks will let flattrack motorcycles race or practice on them at some of them. silvercrown just dont get the love it used to when in the heyday they ran both paved and mostly big dirt tracks on the champ car trail that included the indy 500, in their coffine nose and cigar nosed front engine cars then in 1971 the division spit into pavement and dirt, though today the champ cars are mostly standardized on size and engines, they still have several chassie makers and many of the parts as well as engines to chose from in that 358 and 360 size, though some machines are better then others, but attrition rate is high over those hour and something long races and mechanical failures are very common so on a good day even a small family team can podium

They put in a great drive but I cannot get over how awful the new mustangs look... reminds me of a big fist punching through the race track 😂

The 48 was many laps down and was running defense for the 1. The 48 was taken out by a lambo in the middle of the night. The 4 ran defense for the 3 in the last 20 min. Fair is fair if you ask me.

@@robertparamore286348 wasn’t running defense, he was blocking and impeding the 4 (who was leading) so the 1 could catch up. In fact, the 48 had been handed a drive thru penalty right before the incident in the infield for blocking.

Get clowned?? Number 1 BMW was in it's own race and was punted by the Corvette multiple laps down... Not wat top class motorsports needs... Both drivers from BMW and Corvette need to be fined for their behaviour

@@mikegrey5663 yes I agree they were clocked for blocking but in the final 2 hrs Corvette turned number 1 BMW in T1 in retaliation to the international hairpin incident

Bmw driver had a racing incident. A lot of racing drivers have them. And Corvette driver crashed into bmw on purpose. Corvette driver is a dikhead, not bmw
